I have never met the man and the questions I had for him were about prints that he doesn't even deal in yet he still took time out of his day on two different occasions to help me and point me in the right direction with what I needed to do to get an evaluation on what I had. It's not easy to find people now a days that will help you for no reason and no benefit and still do thier best, thank you very much Frank it was a pleasure to speak to you both times. I would recommend doing any sort of business with an honest helpful man like that any day.”
“My wife and I recently visited the Watertown Antique Collective. Although it's not in a very charming location, you will completely forget that the instant you walk through the door. There is a warm atmosphere that reflects the lovely nature of its owner, Jeff Cote. It is the most beautifully laid out antique shop I've ever been to. But describing it as an antique shop doesn't really do it justice. There is a bounty of carefully curated items to be discovered here. Every room you step into opens a new world of wonders. There are large pieces of furniture and small ones of both antique and modern design. There are vases, candlesticks, racks of clothing, and knick-knacks of every variety. And if taxidermy is your thing, this is the place for you. I can't say enough about this truly enchanting emporium. We were so delighted to discover this marvelous shop, and I'm sure you will be too.”

We really appreciated the time he spent with us, considering we were just browsing and interested in the history. If I ever have the money and space for these rare items, this will be my first stop.”

“A few months ago my boyfriend had brought my late grandfather's humidor (wooden, copper lined smokers stand), in horrible condition, to see if anything could be done with it. It had been subjected to the elements and the top warped and split, literally in half. Mr. Carl Manthey was a very honest and told us that he didn't think the original wood could be saved, but he would try and if not, replace it with another piece. Mr. Manthey communicated with us weekly on the progress and sent us pictures of the humidor, through the different steps he was taking to restore it. I don't know how he managed but he saved the top! This man works magic and I HIGHLY recommend.”

“Beautiful display of antiques in a beautiful historic house. So many pieces with such interesting history. Really loved the set up to walk from room to room and then out the rear of the house towards the old barn. The family is super friendly and personable and we enjoyed talking with mother and daughter about their experiences in the house and the many interesting things they found from previous owners. Definitely worth a stop!”
