“You don't have a great collection of restored Furniture in antiques. Definitely 92.12 shop. Definitely worth a visit. Diono is really nice and spoke to us about the history of his store and the items he had in there.”
“As soon as we opened the door, we were enchanted. Had a wonderful time wandering around and I found a pitcher and basin that not only spoke to me, but was perfectly within my price range. The woodstove enhanced the ambiance -- it smelled wonderful. Large collection of paintings, if you are looking forward wall items. Tons of glass, too. We loved our visit.”
“My favorite auction house in CT. Auctioneer is lively, intelligent and witty. He really knows his stuff! The crew here run a tight ship. Everything is organized and everyone works well together. Sue is such a peach! Staff are helpful, friendly and everyone has a wonderful sense of humor. Every auction is truly a pleasure to attend!”
“I first went into Bittersweet in the mid-1980s to buy gifts for my Mom. I stopped in today for the first time in years and it is still amazing and has grown! I was looking for a gift to take to my host for Thanksgiving...and Barbara was wonderful and helpful! SHOP LOCAL! This is a great shop with great merchandise!”

“I had a longstanding process with an estate buyer and couldn't come to a price, and ultimately the items were put up for sale with Weston's Antiques. I was travelling in Korea at the time and was sad I might not have a chance to even try and bid on the lot. The staff at Weston's were friendly, clear, and helped me arrange a remote bid, and, as my return would take a few days, to hold the items (that I won) for me. This is a first class auction house, fair and solid. Highest recommendation, and I hope to do business with them again.”
“A cool place to visit for all kinds of junk. Very friendly service. The place is a bit of a wreck, but that kind of adds to the appeal of looking around. Great variety of items and decently priced. Easy street parking. Other reviews have mentioned a second floor, but that was not apparent on this visit in March 2024. Would go back again and see what else they have.”
“Super cute gift shop with a mix of local artisan items and other fun and fabulous giftables, plus lots of candy for those with a sweet tooth. They also offer workshops with local makers. Check out upstairs for antique items too. Definitely a great place to shop for a quick gift or treat for yourself. Be sure to check out my wood flowers there as well!”
