“Highly recommend Toce Brothers! Long story short I had purchased a brand new set of oversized LT tires elsewhere for my modified 4Runner. After multiple attempts of balancing at other places (1x bead balance, 3x high speed balance, and 1x RoadForce balance which was done incorrectly), and a new set of rims (nothing was wrong with the original rims) I found out that Toce does RoadForce balance (and they do it for best price around) so I brought it there for a last ditch effort to try yet again. I showed up, they brought my truck right in, an hour later they were done and I was left with perfectly balanced tires! All the staff there was amazing and very friendly, and most importantly honest! I will ALWAYS choose Toce for my future tire needs.”

When I made an appointment, Ben suggested a different tire that I wasn’t aware of that was very similar. It had as good or better ratings; was cheaper as well as having a rebate that they applied to my price and an additional mail-in rebate”

“I stopped by the BJ's in Torrington, because I needed some honey and cheese. This BJ's surprisingly wasn't that busy on two nights before Christmas. It was well stocked, but it took me some time to find everything I was looking for because the layout of this store is a bit different from the one in West Hartford.There was a very kind lady offering samples of corn and apple sauce, she was working at both stations simultaneously. Each time I passed by her she offered it to me again. I told her, I just had it, she said "that's ok, have another one!" I always thought the people who check for your BJ's membership card as you're walking in was the most ridiculous job, because you can't really do much without your card. On this occasion they didn't ask for my card. I was convinced it was in my purse. After my shopping cart was filled and I went to pay, I discovered I didn't have my card. Lucky it was in my car, so all time wasn't wasted.Their job to check for your card, actually has a purpose, holding you responsible that you know where your card is.BJ's is a Club Warehouse. Their membership is $55 annually. This is where I typically go to fill up my car with gas. Their gas prices are the best.”

“I had an incredibly positive experience with Torrington Hyundai during what was honestly one of the most stressful periods of my life. I was in the middle of moving from northern New Hampshire to North Carolina when my car broke down in Connecticut. After an unhelpful experience at another dealership, who replaced one part and sent me off, only for my car to have a critical failure within 15 miles, I brought my vehicle to Torrington Hyundai.
From the very first day, John (Service Manager), along with Melissa and Garrett, were amazing to work with. They kept me informed, communicated honestly, and showed genuine care for my situation. My car ended up needing a new transmission, which took some time to source, and unfortunately the check-engine light issue became a three-month-long process of troubleshooting. Even though the issue itself was unusual (Hyundai corporate hadn’t seen this exact problem with my model), the team never stopped trying.
What truly stood out was how kind and accommodating they were. On days when they needed my car for quick diagnostics and didn’t have loaners available, John let me use his personal vehicle so I wouldn’t be stranded. That level of empathy and customer service is rare.
While I’m disappointed the underlying issue couldn’t be fully resolved before I had to leave the state, I know it wasn’t for lack of effort. I always felt heard, cared for, and supported throughout the entire process. I’m genuinely grateful for the kindness and professionalism I experienced here, and I’d recommend Torrington Hyundai to anyone who wants to work with a service team that truly goes above and beyond.”
“Popped in on a busy Friday during a snowstorm to have our tires assessed. Ben and crew looked at our car and found one tire was unsafe. Even though our appointment was a few hours away, Ben was not comfortable with us driving it and coming back, so we stayed. We got a great quality set of tires for a good price, but the guys found severe issues with our tie rods and could not do the badly needed alignment. Stopped at our mechanic on the way home, three tie rods were in unsafe shape. Our mechanic was impressed at the way Ben and crew kept us safe. We had the repairs done, wheels aligned and are back on the road. Car drives like a dream, didn't know how bad it was. Thank you, Ben, for going above and beyond to keep us safe.”
