A personally feel that the age of retail is not fully behind us and that it has a place that still exists, I love Macy's in general but this location needs to pay more attention to available inventory as well as overall cleanliness.

A large old chain of departmental stores. Wide choice of products, garments etc.
Unfortunately, the footfalls are reducing, with people shifting to online shopping and competition too.

I shopped at Macy's at Trumbull mall in the shoe department today. I have never written a bad review in my life before but I have never been treated so rudely by sales personnel. I found sketcher shoes in the department they are sold in that I wanted to buy. There was no one to help me, so I took the shoes to the sales person in the regular shoe department and she told me I would have to take them back to the sketcher department and have that sales person help me. I told her there was no one to help me there. She sent me back. Someone came to help me. This person was apparently not happy to help, gave me a cold stare, brought me shoes to try on. Barely spoke to me, I asked her if she usually worked in the department and she told me she was a manager ? of something ? I would expect a manager to know how to treat a customer. I will never shop in that department again.

We found an adorable dress for my niece and it was half price! My bf found shoes at a good price too. Employees were friendly and helpful. Good experience

Although I like Macy's, it just did not have anything that I was interested in this go around.

Went to Macy's to purchase a suit for an upcoming wedding. I did not know what to look for, but the associate that worked there, Lynn, was very accommodating. She took my measurements and was able to pick out a suit and shirt that fits me. I couldn't have done it without her help, and I thank her for that.

I love this place. The ladies in the fine jewelry department and fragrances are very nice. Sales on jewelry are worth waiting for and I'm always pleased and happy when I shop there.

I want to say this macys has amazing customer service. Every associate was so welcoming and attempted especially Jay from the mac counter He was so nice and knew exactly what I needed and answered all of my questions, I will definitely be coming back for more make up tips from him . Excellent customer service ?
