We experienced a tire blowout on Father's Day while over an hour from home. To make matters worse, I had a business trip scheduled this week and was flying out Monday evening. Scranton Cadillac of Vernon turned a potentially disastrous situation into a heartwarming experience.
From the moment we arrived at the dealership, the team was empathetic and genuinely committed to helping us. They found matching tires and managed to fit us into their schedule despite being unscheduled. Not only did they fix our vehicle in record time, but they also delivered it to our house, allowing me to make my flight with no additional stress.
A special shoutout to Mike C. and the entire service team for their above-and-beyond efforts. Their dedication and customer-first attitude were truly remarkable. Scranton Cadillac has earned our family's deepest gratitude and highest recommendation.
Thank you for turning our day around!

I have only GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE.. Angelo was my sales rep. Sweet guy. He made everything happen for me fast. My vehicle was so new to the dealership they didn’t even have the title. But with some help from the management team I was able to leave same day with a wonderful xt5. I’ll be back when it’s time for another car.. oh and the Billy in service was excellent too. I had a small issue that was taken care of same day with what felt like no effort.. I recommend this dealership 10 out of 10 on customer service.. thank you for a wonderful experience!

I've had the most professional and consistent experience servicing my cars with Jonathan at Scranton Cadillac. Exceptional customer service and reliability. Highly recommend!

Avoid at all cost. Sold and installed faulty tire, then kept vehicle for nearly a week waiting for "authorization" to replace from GM. In the end, still had faulty install and had repair complete at another dealer. Whole time, Scranton rep blamed me for the issue. Lousy way to handle service.

My experience here was far from ideal. I arrived promptly for my 11 am appointment, only to be shuffled around until finally meeting James Mangine. After hours of waiting, I committed to purchasing a 2021 Cadillac, opting to trade in my Escalade instead of selling it to a cash buyer, under the impression that the dealership would match the $28k offer. However, the breakdown sheet revealed a mere $27k, with the explanation that I’d save on taxes. It felt misleading, costing me an additional $1000.Despite assurances of handling insurance and registration, the process dragged on, making my wife late for work. The inexperienced staff at the financial office struggled with electronic signatures, adding to the delay. When I picked up the car the next day, its build quality was shockingly poor, and it lacked most of the promised features.A week passed without receiving any registration or loan documents. My insurance company, assuming it was my primary car, and my credit union, not receiving the payout for the Escalade, added to the chaos. This was a disappointment compared to my past experiences owning over 8 Cadillacs. My attempts to communicate via email and text about necessary documents and a $1500 accessory purchase were met with unresponsiveness from Mangine. Ultimately, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Beware, potential buyers.

BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY. AVOID the service department! Billed us and our warranty company over $7K for work they assured us was completed but repairs were NEVER actually performed causing more internal engine damage. Later my husband found that the work they claimed was completed was never actually done. After my husband proved to them it was not done they admitted the work they were paid for was never completed.Lied several times, stating could not give us a repair order or invoice until warranty company paid their part of the bill, couldn’t give us the old parts because they had to give them to the warranty company. Said if I chose to have work done elsewhere they could guarantee me there would not be a claim of engine work completed by them with my warranty company, and the list goes on and on, all LIES.Service director Mike and general manager Fred tried to get us to bring the car back in to have the repairs done. NO WAY was I going to entrust them with my vehicle again. Thanks to Blasius Cadillac in Waterbury CT as of today I have my vehicle back in great running condition today.DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Bought 2 used cars off the lot within 6 months apart . Both cars about 55k miles on then . Car 1 only made it to the highway started jerking and bucking had to be fixed right away , took about 3 days , got a rental . Car #2 had fir 3 weeks AC blowing hot air , steering wheel assist off . Service person told me AC did not work because I didn't hit the AC button . Had to explain everything was turned off because I was afraid I would overheat/ damage engine. Service man replies " oh ya , we need to replace the thermostat that would effect AC." When my car is waiting to be serviced I get a text message asking if I would like upgrade or trade in my vehicle. Never was I offered a loaner vehicle. And to top it all off after a call to complain about all above mentioned, I pick up my vehicle and my work badge I left in the spot I always leave it at is now gone. Yes my fault for leaving it in vehicle but just the same .

Well online the hours say Tuesday 9:00 to 8:00 meeting a.m. to p.m. but it's Tuesday at 5:18 p.m. and I call but it says that they are currently closed. I do not believe today is any type of holiday there hasn't been a holiday in the past few days or there isn't one coming up anytime soon for it to be closed. And I can't find anywhere online why it should be closed. They should at least leave the greeting on the voicemail why they're closed or at least update the Google hours. Because I was in desperate need of some help for a friend's car. And this was the only day that I could try to get some things resolved and figured out as a gift for my friend without him knowing but kind of screwed up my whole plans... :-(

Really great service, adequate follow up from the staff. The standout for me was the impressive new vehicle stock. The 2023 Cadillac is one of the finest designed and engineered vehicles I have ever driven.

Buyer beware, I bought a corvette here and was lied to on multiple occasions. This dealership has no regard for customer safety. Salesperson Jamie was great though! I hate to give one star, but this is a must. I work in the industry myself so I was beyond appalled with how things were handled. Upon signing day I was pushed out of the way and given multiple excuses as to why I couldn’t sign my contracts (they had to prioritize a deal on an Escalade almost $50,000 over sticker) and pushed my appointment back after taking time off work, after this they never filed for my Registration and had to place me on a dealer plate for an out of state vehicle, also a big no no. That I can understand and is not the reason for one star. Upon purchase I was told the vehicle had passed CT Saftey and had no accidents, boy was I wrong. My other car was recently side swiped so I figured I would break out the beast and stretch it’s legs as we have had warmer weather this winter. To make sure the car was road ready I had my master tech take a peak. Upon having my master tech take a look at the vehicle he found multiple issues. The tires were original tires from 2014! If you know anything about tire decay and rotting this is BEYOND unacceptable! It doesn’t stop there the tires had poor tread wear from the corvette desperately needing an alignment, on top of that the EVERY TIRE HAD CRACKING FROM DRY ROT! This is a high performance car and if I didn’t have my master tech take a look I could have died from a blow out on my way to work or at a track day. The vehicle had paint and body work done that was not disclosed to me either. It pains me to say this as someone who works in the industry and having it make my dreams come true to own this car I will have to reach out to the BBB. It is one thing to make mistakes but put a customers life in jeopardy to save money on a set of tires is beyond me. I will update once resolved.

The vehicle we looked at was beautiful, but the Sales Staff and Management left much to be desired. Once I submitted the requested documents for a loan, crickets, no calls, no texts, NOTHING. After 4 weeks of the Salesperson "not available", the deposit I put down is finally being refunded. I wish I had Yelped the dealership before driving from Stratford to Vernon, Talk about a waste of time and energy!

I usually park my car in the garage, so I don't often see the garage floor. The other day I parked in the driveway and ran in to retrieve something. In doing that, I noted that there was a patch of oil underneath where my car usually sits. Not wanting to cause any damage to the car and not being mechanical in any way, I simply drove to Scranton, without an appointment to have them look at it. (FTR, I did buy my car there and always have them service it.)They took me in right away, put it up on the lift, and serviced it. (Something about torque that meant nothing to me but apparently needed to be done to the oil filter.) I was there for maybe 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Oh, did I mention that in that 30 minutes they also washed and vacuumed my car? Yup, they did that too. Another "bonus?" They didn't charge me a cent. Sure, bringing a car to the dealer for service may cost more than a quick change oil shop, but they won't take care of you when you find yourself needing help.
