“Very nice Dollar General. The one in Hamden is absolutely atrocious and disgusting. So this one was a pleasantly nice one. Very big selection, clean, organized and much better than lots of the others I’ve been into. I would recommend coming to this location.”

“I’ve been to many Dollar Trees in the area. They are usually the same.Close out products and lots of their own brand items. The past 2 years I have noticed that they are selling SOME Holiday decor items comparable to Michaels and Hobby Lobby for a fraction of the cost (usually $1.25 - although in some in some of the posher communities they have small sections called Dollar Tree Plus of which items can cost up to $5).The store in Cheshire is definitely one of the cleaner stores and the cashier there are severely overworked. Each and EVERY time I go there, they only have one cashier with the line 6-15 deep with her going on the overhead speaker between customers saying “Back up” with a pleading and hopeful look on her face. The ladies (sorry boys I have never seen a male at this location…probably accounts for the tidiness of the location) all seem to be very helpful - but as l mentioned the employees who work the register are visibly frustrated. Now that I live in Cheshire, I will probably not be going to the other locations as much…My opinion of the other local stores-Wallingford - 4/5North Haven - 4/5Hamden - 2/5Meriden 2/5”

“This review is for latoya, who's a manager and fredy who works at the front desk.. I had the pleasure of dealing with both of them today 8-12-26. They both, we're extremely helpful. They made it a pleasure to shop there. I wish I could say everywhere I go. I have that same experience. It's just not true, Latoya and Freddie made it a wonderful experience. And I hope that get recognized by upper management for a job. Well done I will keep ongoing there because of them. There are many other dollar stores around. However, none of Em match the quality of service. I received from la toya and freddie... Thank you for a job well done”

I gave it four stars because they could have some better quality of items. Lol but it is the dollar store.”

“I just have to say Kyle is the BEST associate I have experienced in all of the dollar trees I have been in. He has an exceptional personality!!! He makes me smile everytime I go in. He is so positive, happy, and pleasant to every customer. Hopefully he is there for awhile! Thank you Kyle for a great shopping experience. That's how it should be everywhere since the cashier is the last associate to ensure the customer has had a great experience ??”
