Lady made up some bogus company policy saying you can’t have fragile stickers on packages that don’t have any fragile items in them. Even though my local usps doesn’t have this policy and never mentioned it before out of all the times I’ve sent out packages like this before. I guess we’re just making up company policies based on location now because the employees are understaffed.

I came in and couldn’t get anyone to come to the counter even though I could hear them just behind the door. I had to call out asking for help. They proceeded to tell me they were full and couldn’t accept my packages. I don’t believe this was the case at all. The employee clearly didn’t want to help me since I had a lot of prepaid packages to ship. She told me to go to a different post office.

Went there week before Thanksgiving to send a package to UK. Clerk asked me where it was going. Told her the Uk. Have sent things to this address many times in past and have never had a problem . I filled out customs form and was charged $17.85. A week after package showed up in OUR mailbox. So I paid $17.85 for it to go from yalesville to meriden! We took it back there and same clerk INSISTED she sent it out properly and had no idea why it was sent back! Told us we need to see a supervisor. None were there! It was 4:47pm and we ended up going to wallingford. 2 clerks remained there until 5:10pm to help us! They said it was that the customs slip was not on the package and label was not specific enough. Unfortunately cost us another $17.85. They apologized however wasn't their fault. Why have people working if they don't know what they're doing? Reached out to them via website however online form wouldn't go through after 4 tries! My advice, go to Wallingford off center street instead! Much nicer people who know what theyre doing!

I have never experienced anything but friendly, efficient service at our local USPS. DeJoy will never convince me that the post office should be privatized. Thanks to all who work for the Post Office and may they know how much they are appreciated, every day.

I use to love this location before covid. The two gentleman were so personable and I loved my visits to the post office. Since then, I have been told that I have to go to the main post office because my 6 prepaid packages are too much. (Once a week)Since the new staff have come in, specifically one employee argues with me. I have reached out to the postmaster with no response. When I have a good experience I take the survey, but I now would rather go to Meriden than this office. They are much more friendly. Wallingford seriously needs to get it's act together. Both this location and the central Wallingford location at suffering. I had much compassion for what they have been going through but after my great experiences in Meriden I cannot stand for the lackluster service anymore.

Not about a post office location, just about how their scales are off by a pound or MORE!!!!!!!!!! 4oz on my $500 home scale shouldn't come out to 1.7lbs, over 2lbs, 1.1lbs, etc. etc.!!!! If someone sends the same s*** over and over, at least keep the lies the same or it's more than a bit obvious. No wonder the post office is always in the red, THEY SUCK! BIGGG TIME! Breadlines time losers! UPS gets every red cent of my shipping business from now on.

I have been going to this post office for almost 2 years. The staff are friendly, they have never lost a package, and they deserve 6 stars for putting up with the terrible people in this community. There is no reason to leave a review about someone's race, that woman is very informative and helpful."They don't print labels" - it's 2021, get a printer and some tape on Amazon or at Walmart. Your experiences are all bad because you set yourself up for failure. It's very easy to print a label out and tape it to a box. Bring it in, they scan it, give you a receipt, and you are on your way. I have wasted hours in total waiting for people to fill out their envelopes at the counter, people like you are the real issue
