I had bought (privately, not from land n’ sea) an 05 brute force that had not been used much and needed significant carburetor work. After the initial work was done the problems returned a few days later, I called Bobby back and he had me bring back the machine, he stood by his work and fixed the issues quickly, with great communication on costs and what the potential issues may be. Prior to calling Stanley's, I called several other shops with higher ratings on Google and rave reviews and I was astonished at how short and unprofessional all of those other shops were. Outstanding Compassion and Professionalism
Joel from Durable Radiator & Auto Body, Inc. in Waterbury, CT deserves recognition for his incredible service. Last night around 7:30 PM at the Valero on Straits Turnpike in Middlebury, I witnessed Joel show true compassion while assisting an elderly couple whose car had broken down.
From the moment he arrived, his professionalism and kindness stood out. He introduced himself with a handshake, calmly explained what he was going to do, and reassured the couple every step of the way. When it came time for them to get into the tow truck, he patiently showed them how to climb up into the high cab and made sure they got in safely.
I was so moved by his respect and care that I went over to thank him personally—not just for helping them, but for reminding all of us what kindness looks like. In a world that often feels rushed and dismissive, Joel slowed down, treated the couple as if they were his own parents, and gave them dignity in a stressful moment.
As someone with aging parents myself, it gave me peace of mind to know there are people like Joel out there. If my own parents ever broke down on the side of the road, I would hope someone like him would be the one to answer the call.
We need more people like Joel—respectful, compassionate, and dedicated. Durable Radiator & Auto Body, Inc. should be proud to have him on their team.”

Prices are better than Chuck and Eddie's, Waterbury salvage, quality used auto, Reidville used auto, and I know this because I called all of them 5onget quotes for a 2013 equinox door. they have a lot of inventory, and if they don't have it in Waterbury they they have a place in N.Y. so they can get you what you need. IF YOU ARE A CHUCK AMD EDDIE'S PERSON, call these guys first. 1 more thing, customer service was great.”

“I came in today because I had a lot of coercion on my battery. I also needed a new bolt for my negative terminal. Javier is who assisted me. All I have to say is this guy was amazing! He was polite and professional. He directed me to the right bolt to get, and even came out to my car to help me clean my battery and install the new bolt. He was so helpful and even educated me as well. I will only be buying my car parts from Advanced Auto now due to how great Javier was. Thank you so much!”
“SEMI TRUCK DRIVERS: Area has small streets have tandems back. They do have docks in one of their buildings, easy back. I slept on the street but if you have hours I don’t recommend it, its very deserted at night might be better to sleep somewhere else just for safety. Unload took about 45 min. All good.”
