As I walked in, I was asked if I needed any help (in NY, you can't find people when you need help).
While I was browsing, saw an employee cleaning the mirrors on the benches. (never in NY)
The bathroom was clean, with a framed note that in case it's not, let them know and they'll clean it. Also had flowers in it. Nice touch ( once again, nothing like New York)”
“TRUST THEM!!Ten weeks ago I went to REM when I needed safety boots for a job. I'm "normally" a 10.5, but Sheila insisted I needed 12-double-wide for my foot-size so I won't get chafing or ingrown nails. I even went back in the next day arguing for half-a-size smaller and she let me try it out, then pointed where it would start to wear. I've been on this job 60+, 10+-hour-days since and these boots have been kind to me, if not outright magical. Theres only so much boots can do but, if these folx give you advice,TRUST THEM!!”
