Waterford Beach Park is a clean and quiet beach with beautiful white sand and a short shoreline, making it ideal for families with small children. The beach is well-maintained, with posted lifeguards during the summer, and features restroom facilities and a quick shower for convenience. Visitors often enjoy a refreshing breeze, and while it can be windy at times, it adds to the overall experience. The parking lot is a bit far from the beach but accessible via laid carpet, making it easy to pull wagons. The beach is popular, especially on busy days when food vendors and shaved ice trucks are available. It is not a public beach, so visitors need to get a pass early in the season to avoid missing out. The water tends to be cool but becomes pleasant once the kids get used to it. Overall, Waterford Beach Park is a well-kept, scenic spot with plenty of space and great views, considered one of the best beaches in Connecticut.
A very beautiful place where you can have a day of family time and relaxation, ample parking, clean bathrooms and a path that leads to the beach, I loved it.
