“It was really easy checking out the units in person and discussing which options (drive up, climate control) we would choose. Mike made sure we knew the full extent of pricing up front for our options, and we were able to get our storage locker in the same visit as well as buy a lock with multiple keys, set a pin to enter after hours, etc. Mike was super friendly and conversational, and made the whole process really straightforward and we were finished in basically no time”

I had not fired a gun in nearly three decades, and Bobby patiently and thoroughly guided the class through the required NRA training, took us to the indoor shooting range, and very patiently guided me through the process from loading to aiming to shooting to unloading. “The storage facility here is "brand new". It's secured with eight foot tall perimeter fencing. As well as a secured mechanical gate controlled by a PIN pad. There is very easy access to my rented space. I can easily get in and out, while pulling a large enclosed trailler. The customer service is excellent. Tina is the manager, and I can't say enough about how professional and helpful she was while I was setting up my storage area.I would highly recommend this company and their storage facility.”

The manager, Jeff, is super helpful, keeps the place spotless and it’s real peace of mind to know someone is on site keeping an eye on things. I also feel safer when I go there alone, or my daughter does, because I know he’s on site. He’s like an added layer of security.”

“Yesterday I was driving a U-Haul trailer from Massachusetts to Virginia, and the trailer lights went out. we stopped at U-Haul Waterbury Downtown, and the young lady behind the desk stopped what she was doing and helped us assess the problem. They don’t work on trailers at this location, so she then directed me to the U-Haul in Naugatuck where they may be able to help me. They did; and I’m appreciative of her assistance in assessing and assisting with the situation.”
“I needed a trailer hitch with wiring installed on my wife's Bronco Sport, and it was a GREAT experience at U-Haul of Waterbury.
Every single person I interacted with -- from the woman who took my call and made my appointment, to the folks who were at the counter at check in, to Matt who did the actual install -- were all A+. He's fantastic and did a solid job on the hitch. His choice of music while working is also great. =) (I waited on their comfy couch and could faintly hear through the wall).
There are not many places where every person is genuinely friendly and kind.
The location itself is in a good spot, and there is a generous amount of trucks and trailers to rent (which I've done once from this location in the past -- great experience there, too).
There is a TON of helpful things available for purchase inside -- from boxes of all sizes and styles, to packing material, hand trucks, various trailer hitch accessories, etc.
I highly recommend this location if you need a hitch installed, or if you need to rent a truck or trailer.”
