Within a few days of placing my order, they refunded my payment and sent me an email explaining the item was discontinued and out of stock. The promptness of the refund and the gesture of the email were both so wonderful! Incredible customer service and clearly reliable for online orders. :-)”

“Usually I love this store, but I go to the one in the Waterbury Mall. This time I wasn't overly impressed because most pieces of clothing were all very similar in cut, style, etc. I also wasn't sure if size 11-13 jeans are considered "plus size" but there was only one pair, in one style, in the section I was shopping in. I bought my mom and I both tiered necklaces and when the salesperson put them in the bag they completey twisted around each other and it looks like I'm going to have to sacrifice my necklace so I can still give my mom hers.”

“I stopped into CathyB’s on a hunch based on the clothes displayed on their sidewalk in front of the store. They had a lot of nice items, but what caught my attention was this wrap for my wife. Thought it would be a nice additional for the Fall, heading out to dinner. Now it’s my wife’s # 1 outfit when she heads out. She looks great with it on - just loves wearing it. “I was surprised with the assortment of clothes from which to choose from and i liked the quality.The store clerks were very helpful and friendly.I managed to buy an 80 dollar item for 15 dollars and i had 10 in rewards!I was shocked frankly i only paid 5 dollars!They always have deals of some kind in the store and online.My biggest issue was the mall itself. There were just men who were meandering around the mall and it made me feel a bit uneasy.At the Waterbury Mall, the Torrid store is downstairs and to the right as you go through the Main entrance.Like most malls, Waterbury has lost 2 anchor stores, Sears and Macy's and it is a shame! We frequented both.I avoid the malls now, but i did enjoy my trip to Torrid.”
“I can't speak for this stored review policy, but what I do know, is that I have very sensitive ears that are bothered by literally almost any earring. I took a chance and bought some studs I fell in love with here and wouldn't you know they are the only earrings I ever wear now that don't bother me! I can't want to go back again so I can know the artist and quality of the metal. I had a positive interaction with the woman running the store and sure, there are many expensive items, but there are also reasonable items mixed in and I think the cost is justified because everything here is very unique, in handmade particular greeting cards that are reasonable and very cool cowbells and authentic country decor.”

“I had a wonderful shopping experience at the Southbury, CT Chico’s. The sales staff was friendly, professional, and most importantly helpful! They helped me try a variety of sizes and also ordered the size I needed in the color and style that I wanted it. While I was there some “regulars” came in based on how they were acknowledged by name, which added to the overall positive feeling of shopping there. The store was orderly and clean. I will definitely be back!”

“I've always loved Bob's stores since I found them in Danbury. Haven't been in a Bob's since Danbury closed a few years ago. Now that I'm working in the Waterbury area they are all over the place. Went in just to browse for a few minutes, didn't buy anything today. Lots of great deals going on between clearance and other promotions. They also have their loyalty program which earns your money back. The store itself is a little dated, but still a pleasant experience.”

“Not sure if I just didn’t hit it right but it was 70% off which- ok that’s a great deal. When you first walk in you’re about to have a heart attack but after hours of pulling through boxes and flipping through clothing racks, you might be disappointed. Just selection wise I didn’t find much. Mostly UO and FP. I was hoping I’d find more Anthro clothes but there was hardly any. As other reviews mentioned, if there wasn’t an additional % off price, not sure if it’s necessarily the best deal. But if you’re in the area it’s worth a try.”
“Based on the recent news I was expecting JCP to look like an Out of Business sale with yellow signs everywhere. Apparently not. The store was business as usual. I went on a day where they were offering a discount on kids clothing (unmarked). I ended picking up (3) JoJo Siwa bows for less than the price of (2). The mall was dead compared to pre-covid so that helped with shorter checkout lines at JCP. I was able to find everything I was looking for and the cashiers were very helpful. I only wish that they better displayed the sale they were having on JoJo Bows. If I didnt happen to price check them I would of never known that they were on sale.”

“I will never forget around the summer of 2021, approximately, when things were getting back to normal, somewhat, this store stood out for a major reason. While all other businesses were sporting all types of warning signs with rules and regulations (and not enforcing them, by the way), Old Navy had a wonderful sign that simply said "All Are Welcome". God bless you, Old Navy for not giving into the nonsense”
