He is always helpful and can usually find out what is holding up a prescription with insurance companies and help resolve the problem. Ms. Pat and the clerks are wonderful! Ms. Sheryl especially always engages in conversation and even remembers our past conversations, which really means a lot to me. That personal connection makes every visit feel comfortable and caring.

Cigarette butts, liquor minnies, dirty diapers, bottles, cans, paper strewn everywhere! There is not a clean spot anywhere.

“I ordered 3 items online to be picked up at the CVS location at 355 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT. The CVS website states that the store hours of operation are: Monday - Sunday, 8 AM - 11 PM. I arrived at CVS at 9:55 PM and the store was getting ready to close.

I told the cashier I ordered 3 items online and she handed me one (1) bag. When I arrived back home I realized the clerk overlooked my toilet paper, the item that I needed the most.

Now I have to return to CVS to retrieve my third item. I’m hardly saving any money here. This shopping mishap has proven to be a first class hassle. The type of hassle I was deliberately trying to avoid.

This experience has breached my trust in shopping at CVS. From the conflicting, contradicting statements of when the store closes (i.e., website stating store closes at 11:00 PM but in actuality, the store closes at 10:00 PM to the cashier not taking the time to read my order.)

These little glitches add up to a major headache and a massive hassle. I’m not happy about the prospect of not having any toilet paper. This is going to be ugly. This unpleasant experience will live long in my memory.

Update: I went back to CVS the following morning and the cashier was friendly and apologetic.

CVS is good to me and the employees work very hard and are good at what they do. I was rightfully irritated when I wrote the review but it unfairly skewed my perception of CVS at that particular moment. To err is human and CVS and its employees deserve good things. I am happy again and am giving you a well-deserved 5 stars.
