“My experience with Extra Space Storage at 1525 Boston Post Road in Milford CT was all around amazing; from the time I reserved the storage unit, to the time I moved out.
The entire process was haste free and went very smooth, and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous, especially Jennifer. Also, the location is very spacious, clean, and has great temperature control.

“On 6/28/2025 I went to this U-haul store at1685 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden, CT. 06514, and was greeted with the best customer service that I've had in a very long time. General Manager Ricky Mcdonald went far and beyond to make sure that my cooking event proceeded without any problems. Some months ago a friend purchased me a brand new propane tank that I chose not to fill at the time of purchase. Well on the said date above I went to purchase some propane and fill the new tank. While attempting to fill this new tank Ricky and I realized that this tank had a defect with it and my day felt ruined. Well Ricky Mcdonald made my day by supplying me with 2 borrowed filled tanks to use as he promised to order me a replacement new tank. I applaud the U-Hal center for hiring this young man and allowing him to show how a Manager can really help out during tough times that might be out of your control. Thank you Ricky Mcdonald and U-Haul for your love and excellent customer service skills.”

“I was not sure what to expect nor had I ever been to Tweed airport. These people were as kind, helpful, and efficient as any other rental company I have used. They arrived at the airport within minutes, even though I was standing in the wrong spot. ?. The driver had to circle many times yet had a great attitude as did the young woman I returned the car to. I don’t have any photos, but if I were to change anything, it would be their name. The cars I saw and the one I rented was anything but a wreck. I am most definitely a customer for life.”

“The only issue I have is uhaul is not helpful with customer in financial situations instead of them quick to auction off there belongs they should offer some sort of help and they don't the expect full payment if customers belongings are in storage that's a clear indication that they hit hard times”

“I had such a good experience here that I wanted to be sure to leave a review. I think Rich was the gentleman that helped me and my boyfriend with a truck/dolly return. I had had an incredibly negative experience with the Budget location in Lexington KY for my one way rental that I was fully expecting the same terrible customer service from all locations. This location at Tripps was exceptional and helped me understand my receipt before I left the location. He clarified the policy on deposits and I left feeling really good about my experience there. Super helpful. I'll never use Budget again, but I would feel very comfortable going to him with other business as he seems very honest and straightforward. “This place is fantastic. We were in luck that they had a van to accommodate our crew, with same day pickup. We we're were rushing, as we needed the vehicle, but he was insisting he needed to detail the vehicle.
When the credit company in charge of releasing the deposit was delayed in releasing my funds, Rent a Wreck was honest and understanding.
I will definitely work with him/them again. No bullsh*t. Pleasure to deal with. No hassle.

“This company seems to really be going down hill...but Laura Paige, the office manager at this location turned my nightmare into a good impression. I initially had made a reservation 2 months in advance to her picked up in Bridgeport. On the morning of my res. I showed up and they said "we don't have your truck". Long story short....I had made new arrangements to pick up the following morning and was dreading the results. Laura was beyond friendly, restored my confidence and even made sure I received the better truck in the lot. She is a sweetheart and I highly recommend making the trek to Milford even if seemingly inconvenient.”
“I was not expecting much after having a terrible experience at penske, but was very pleasantly surprised. Very quick service at pick up and drop off. Eli was great and had my drop off processed in under 5 min. Only problem was that he was too fast and I had to wait for the wife to come rescue me, I thought it would take longer. Truck was as expected: decent condition and operation. I'll be back to this location again”
