“My VW car battery died in Granby and I got a boost from James, who suggested I take the car to Mitchell VW in Simsbury (about 20 minutes away) and he would follow me. He is a long-time customer of Matt Figueroa and he had to stop in there anyhow. So, with no advance notice I showed up there with James. In under an hour I was driving home. I had been a regular customer at Mitchell in the past, but the drive takes me 35 minutes from my house in Suffield and I wind up having to figure out how to spend my time when I will be there a while. Still, my recent experience will lead me to re-evaluate my future plans.”

“Ron’s Automotive is the kind of place that you wish existed everywhere. My family was headed to Pennsylvania from Rhode Island when our car started to have brake problems. We went to a local chain place first and they weren’t able to helps us so I found Ron’s. They got our car right in and Ron was super dedicated to getting us back on the road asap. Turned out that the car had much bigger problems than what we could afford but they really did everything they could for us. They’re affordable and friendly and Ron genuinely cares about his customers. If we lived closer, this would be my go-to mechanic. You don’t find places that care these days so I highly recommend them. If you live nearby or if you’re driving through and need work done, come here. I can’t say enough good things about them.”

“Very impressed with their service. Went in for a simple wheel alignment. They gave me an option. Took the simple alignment thinking I wouldn’t need recalibration of driver warning system. Most places would probably hardball sell the more expensive option. I tested the lane keep assist and it’s still works like it always has. Now here’s the thing that impressed me even more. They not only filled the air in my tires, but they took the extra step of reading the door jam for the correct psi. Everywhere else fills all 4 tires the same psi where the specs are different for front and rear. I was highly recommended coming here and now I know why.”

“They recently serviced my Civic for bad tires and a failing serpentine belt. The service was done within a day and the loaner car was a life saver. Many places won’t do that anymore. Not only did they diagnose the original problem, but looked the whole car over and gave me fair estimates on potential future repairs at no additional cost. The prices are fair enough and the work speaks for itself. Highly recommend for any and all maintenance.”

“This was a second opinion on my brakes. Midas did an exceptional inspection on the entire vehicle, not just the brakes, and that was free! Imagine my surprise they found other than what the other repair place said! The inspection included photos sent to my phone so i could see just what they were telling me. My estimate at the other place was $500 plus, but due to the correct diagnosis, my total bill was just under $300! These people are courteous, knowledgeable and timely. My brakes feel so much better! You can be sure i will be returning for any future work needed! ?”
