“Omg! Words can’t describe how perfect my daughter’s party was. The staff was so sweet and professional. They treated every little girl like a princess and made sure my birthday girl felt extra special. They thought about everything and went out of their way to make the day perfect. My husband and I had a miscommunication on the character order and they went out of their way to have Elsa come in and spend time with the girls. She was beautiful, sung songs and read to them. The costumes were perfect, table setting magnificent and every activity spectacular! I could go on forever. Thank you Sugar Plum Parties!!”

“It’s hard not to love Waveny park. There are miles of looping trails in the woods, but I often wish they were longer than they are… of course the easy fix is to just do them twice and almost everybody does that.
The big fields and trails find people with pets (on leash, of course because they give tickets!), golfers hitting chip shots, runners of all kinds and ages, and friends and couples walking in deep conversation.
It’s really beautiful. I’ve never taken a tour of the house, but I’ve seen dozens of parties hosted there. I’m sure it’s a terrific location.

“Excellent place for your kids to learn fencing for all ages and levels. I have 3 kids fencing and they look forward to their class and lessons. The coaches (Mike and Alberto) are both awesome! They identify and set goals for each individual needs in a comfortable environment. The facility is bright and spacious and kept clean. Highly recommend it!”

“We had our wedding there on 8/30. Everything was perfect. The setting is gorgeous, the food was phenomenal, the staff is amazing! The venue is a blank canvas that you can turn into the event of your dreams, and it was! Best day ever!! Highly recommend!!!”

“Absolutely cannot recommend enough the service at Lakota Oaks. I was in a hurry and left some things in my drawers, and they were nice enough to mail it to me. Their chef is excellent; and provided a plethora of options, including plant-based. Everyone is super nice, from the front desk, to the bartender, to the waitstaff. It's professionalism to the core, but with that warm touch that makes you feel it's personal.”

“I use to come here a lot on my 20's haven't been here in about 20 years and they have a lot upgrades. Kid friendly and adult friendly. They have a kids jump area upstairs now. You can have birthday parties here. There is plenty of parking, food and drinks for kids and adults.”

You have the option to choose a room that’s away from the train tracks, an option provided to me from the very beginning, which I appreciated.
The hotel has beautiful views of the Norwalk River, especially in the lobby.

“The restaurant, Dandelion, is amazing. I'm usually skeptical about hotel restaurants and jaded from dining out too much but this place was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. I would highly recommend and is 5/5 stars in itself.
The hotel itself and rooms, I'd put at 4 stars. Nice in itself but sooo fragrant. I couldn't breathe through my mouth without tasting the fragrance. It felt a bit commercial over hospitality with overpriced products for purchase placed everywhere. Execution felt off with the bathroom always freezing and some finishes look damaged despite it being new.”
