“Love this place! My wife and I had been looking for a good nursery for a while and my sister found Woodland Gardens. The staff is wonderful (Jay is amazing for questions and recommendations, not pushy in the least, just really supportive and patient!), love the variety and quality of the plants! My parents had been wanting to start a small garden in their backyard but had been struggling. They purchased seeds from here and everything has been growing beautifully (cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes). We are about 45 minutes away but more than worth the ride!”
“What a gem of a place! With extensive family involvement, everyone was so helpful and the quality of plant material available is beyond remarkable. Along with many beautiful popular plants are a huge mix of perennials and native plants and shrubs, including hard-to-find specimens of Golden Dawn Redwood, Hinoki Cypresses, Japanese Maples, hundreds of Hostas, and many, many others, all lovingly cared for and maintained. It’s a completely different level of plant quality here from the low end big-box stores, where you waste your money on stressed and unhealthy plants that often don’t survive due to poor maintenance and mistreatment. Run, don’t walk to Garden Sales if you want healthy plants that will last!!”
“Al and his team are exceptional! We recently hired Al’s Landscaping to redo our landscaping around our house. The level of customer service we received was remarkable. From the start, Al took the time to create a plan, remove our overgrown shrubs, and design a whole new look. We walked their nursery yard to pick the plants, schedule the work to the completion. Al is extremely knowledgeable, a true professional and easy to work with.

“From start to finish Aqua Scapes was a pleasure to work with and they did an awesome job installing my pond. it is quite evident that Rob and his team have a passion for their work. The pond is now a focal point of the yard and guests flock to it complimenting me on how beautiful it is. “We wanted to recognize Paul K ( Irishman) who actually stopped and asked if he can help us instead of just walking by and having us track down an employee ( like at Lowe’s). He not only showed us where the products were but gave his advice and recommendations as well. He went out of his way to walk us around the store looking for other things that we mentioned and even offered my daughter a bottle water when she said she was thirsty. It was one of the best service we’ve had , way better than Lowe’s ! You have a great employee in Mr Paul K. I will be coming back to Home Depot over Lowe’s because of your friendliness and helpfulness.”
“We visited Scott’s Orchard and Nursery last week for apple, blueberry, and peach picking, and it was a fantastic experience. The orchard was beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of fruits to pick. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable.
My 5-year-old absolutely loved it. It was a joy to watch them run around and pick their own fruits. The orchard is very family-friendly, with plenty of space for children to explore safely.
The quality of the fruits was excellent, and we ended up with a basket full of delicious apples, blueberries, and peaches. Overall, it was a great day out, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and wholesome activity with family or friends.”

Was unable to locate. He then said I’ll get it for you. Rang up my order, told me to pull up my car and he loaded it.

“Best farm stand because they have the best plants. Their tomatoes are worth going out of your way for. They are delicious, more so than other grown–in–CT fruit.
They carry an array of fruit and vegetables from other farms, too.
Their plants are hardy and grow like crazy because they’re acclimated to this area.
Finally, they take hot peppers seriously. There are sometimes six varieties on offer. Beware of the red Hungarians – they are infernal!”

“Come here from time to time. This store is HUGE. Prices are more than Nh... but so is everything so I don't really complain. Nothing *crazy* to state.... It's Home Depot not a nightclub but the plants always seem healthy. Last time I was here there was a confrontation between the police and an Asian gentlemen. I watched for awhile and nothing spectacular came of it. Kinda would say that's the *vibe* for this store. One other time this lady who worked here was rude... I was here right at opening and went to walk in and boy she shut those doors quick. Idk why they were unlocked but I didn't unlock them and thus was a little taken again. Figured that was just a once off. For all of these reasons, 4/5 ... maybe 85/100 if this was a test. We could call it a "B"”
“This is a great local stop when you need something basic and don't want to go to a big box store. Prices are always reasonable. Excellent spot for garden items. Love to buy new plants from here during the season if they are fresh off the truck. Unfortunately, any later than that, and they don't water them (so they fry in the hot sun). But if you get them fresh off the truck, the prices are great for the size of the plants and they have a great selection.”

“Friendly and efficient customer service. I went to pick up my massive laminate floor order. Peter kindly said he would meet me at the lumber door entrance. Peter and Aiden then assisted in filling my entire car quickly and safely with my huge order. I didn't have to lift a finger. Would definitely recommend this Home Depot to anyone. “Went in because I had a very clogged toilet and had already bought an auger at Lowes that did not work - it was too rigid to twist into the shape of the pipe. One of the employees saw me and suggested I not buy the one in my hand because he'd tried it and it didn't work. He helped me find a different one - Rigid brand ironically - and let me tell you, in less than 30 seconds my toilet was working again! He saved my day!”
“Very convenient place to rent rarely used power tools. They are super helpful and will help you load and unload. The Home Depot app is also super convenient as it keeps track of inventory and lets you know how many of a particular tool they have, or if you have to look in a neighboring store.”
