“I would rate higher if I could. Best silver seller in CT, charged $2.00 over spot for generic bullion silver 10 oz bars at the top of the hype on 02/07/2026. ($2.50 over spot for 1oz rounds). AJC was the name of the clerk on my receipt and he was great: efficient, well spoken, and answered all of my questions. Appointment only which is fine because I wouldn’t want to compromise on the customer service with overwhelming volume. Very underrated seller here and will be returning next silver price dip”

“Love Michael's everywhere but this location was truly well prepared for the holidays. The on floor staff did a beautiful job on the decor, price tags as well as sale tags. The floor staff, young women, deserve a holiday raise for all the hard work. I have not been to this location in over a few months as the entrance was always uninviting and boring. But over the holidays, the decor is beautiful. Keep it up!!!”

“If we could give 10 Stars we would, but the most is 5 Stars........ My husband and I were looking for a quality frame for our son's certificate from the State of Connecticut Superior Court. It had to look professional but be reasonably priced, too. In our search we found Michael's Craft Store located in Westport. We initially expected to purchase a mat and a picture frame to bring home. Then we would put everything together ourselves. Store employee extraordinaire named JoJo offered to show us mats and frames. She patiently waited as we placed several mats over his certificate to choose a suitable color. She suggested that we go with a black mat and indeed she was correct! JoJo patiently answered our questions, scanned prices, and at her recommendation, we agreed to buy UV-protection glass so that the certificate would not yellow in direct sunlight. To our surprise (and relief!) JoJo removed the old glass from the picture frame we purchased, cut out a new UV-protection glass to size, and placed the certificate into it. The result was amazing (see attached photo). Our son's certificate looks absolutely beautiful in the frame with the mat that JoJo recommended to us. She was such a pleasure to work with and we hope that her store manager recognizes her for her outstanding service. JoJo, thank you for going the "extra mile" for us!!!!!”

“Interesting how the 1-star review gives no details for the rating.We've been doing business with Fred for years. He has been patient with his explanations. He hasn't never pushed us one way or another, allowing us the time to make decisions regarding buying and selling. He's even counseled us to wait for when the market goes up before selling. Would he get a higher commission. Yes. But that didn't feel like the reason he gave us that counsel, which sadly we didn't take,and the market did go up 2 months later.I recommend this business.”
