“A woman named Celeste helped me yesterday morning and she was just lovely. I had a huge problem in that all my money was gone, stolen thru my debit card by what appears to be an online gambling ring. Celeste was really nice, comforting, helpful, calming and just quite wonderful all around. She helped keep me grounded in what was quite a stressful situation for me.

I will say that the process for fixing the issue, seemed to be quite cumbersome. Now it seems to me that she took all the info out of the computer, printed it onto separate pieces of paper that I had to sign individually. I had 94 transactions. That equated to 188 pieces of paper which then had to scanned back into the computer. It took 2.5 hrs to get thru all of that. 2.5 of me missing work and not making money in the midst of having lost everything. Compounded by the fact that there are no bathrooms for customers in the CU!! I feel as though the whole thing could have been put in an email, printed and signed if they needed a wet signature. I don’t know why they needed my signature 94 times when it seems they could have put 94 transactions on 1-3 pieces of paper and have me sign at the bottom. That would have taken 5-15 minutes. Common sense seems to have been lost in this process.

I moved south 10 years ago and STILL have them as my only financial institution. Going on 40 years now!! A lot of people don't know that if you move out of CT, you can still use the co op system they have set up... ASK THEM ABOUT IT!! For the love of GOD, do not deal with those big banks.. ugg”
