“Out of all the Ocean State job lots I've gone to in CT, I'd have to say this one takes the cake. Large selection of everything, clean and organized most of the time, the staff are, well people suck, so we will not be including my interaction experience, lets just say if I based this review off the staff there would not be five stars. Just remember you get what you pay for. But all in all I give this location and management an A+, keep up the good work and have a talk with your employees about being more people friendly”

The store is on the smaller side and usually when I go there are a lot of boxes that haven't been unpacked, but I can usually still find what I am looking for.”

“This is one of two grocery stores in the North end of Hartford CT, which is a low income area, the only reason I see is the fault. Why is that, please can someone explain this to the people.”
“This is a great local stop when you need something basic and don't want to go to a big box store. Prices are always reasonable. Excellent spot for garden items. Love to buy new plants from here during the season if they are fresh off the truck. Unfortunately, any later than that, and they don't water them (so they fry in the hot sun). But if you get them fresh off the truck, the prices are great for the size of the plants and they have a great selection.”
“I go to Dollar General frequently and I think all the employees are polite and very friendly! I buy my soda there because they have the best prices around!l Like some others have said they have great prices on snacks too!I also like that it's close to my house so I can walk there easily! I'd like it if they would open more checkout stations it can be quite inconvenient at times overall though I think they do a great job 👊✌❤”

“HANDS! here! I HANDS! went to this store to SHOP and I bought a lot of things because the staff member who works there helped me find them. When I got to the cashiering station the cashier was very pleasant and helped me use the Dollar General Application on my cellular cell phone to make my purchase and I saved $14.50 so I went back and bought more things to make the FRENCHTOAST. I live in the Beacon Falls city of the CT Connecticut state, so to come to the Bloomfield city is a long drive, but I will be coming BACK to this store to shop at this location again and to buy more products. This is a 5 five star review. ok thanks!”
“The store is much cleaner and organized compared to my last visit. I found what I needed and had to get on the long long line. Only one cashier was working - I do not get this! There were three other crew members putting new merchandise out. I wish the management would think of the customers ONCE IN AWHILE here. The location is a high traffic shopping center - the store is unbelievably poorly managed. Years like this unfortunately. I will go to FAMILY DOLLAR for better service. The prices, selection and quantity of merchandise are great usually.”
