“This is a great local stop when you need something basic and don't want to go to a big box store. Prices are always reasonable. Excellent spot for garden items. Love to buy new plants from here during the season if they are fresh off the truck. Unfortunately, any later than that, and they don't water them (so they fry in the hot sun). But if you get them fresh off the truck, the prices are great for the size of the plants and they have a great selection.”

“I actually came here for the 1st time today. And I am floored by the amazing customer service.. I walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile and hello. Upon checkout I was asked if I found everything ok and if I needed a bag (all asked with a smile on the young ladies face) the same individual that greeted me was the same young lady that helped me with checkout her name was Jen... She is exactly the type of employee that more places need. She did her job above and beyond all with a friendly smile. “This particular Family Dollar is the best around the Hartford location. I stopped here to get a couple of things and was surprised to see how much stuff they had compared to the other Family Dollars on Park street. The entire store was well kept! It was clean had fully stocked shelves. They have things at this Family Dollar that I've never seen at other FD's. I couldn't believe how much stuff they sold. The employees are helpful. If you're unable to locate something they walk you to the item. They also treat you with respect!!!! This is my new go to Family Dollar that's for sure!”
“This place is alright. I come here almost everyday and experience some problems. The biggest problem I've had is that the store is very short staffed and the lines take up 10-15 minutes when there is only 1 person in the checkout.
Another problem I have is some things are messy and all over the place.
The good things are they have everything you need when stopping around, the place is quiet with no customers being lousy, they restock everything frequently, And the some of the employees are pretty chill”
“I’ve been shopping at this Dollar Tree for a while and I can honestly say it’s gotten way better recently. The new store manager Erin has really been putting in effort to turn the store around after it was neglected for a long time. The store is cleaner, more organized, and you can actually see the improvement little by little. There’s still work to do, but compared to before, the difference is noticeable. Respect to the staff that’s actually trying to make the place better.”
