“Had a 2 day shopping experience for mattress and couches because I was very indecisive. Dragon was an absolute delight and gave me A LOT of information about each piece so I could make the right decision. I didn't feel pressured to buy either which is always nice. Went in Saturday and left with a handful of items I liked in mind and went home to make sure each item would indeed fit my space. Went back Sunday to make a final decision, and Dragon stayed after closing to wrap us up and make sure we had everything we needed. This showroom has a Huge selection, and the clearance section which gives you ample items to choose from. We will definitely be back to purchase from Dragon!”

“Pompanoosuc Mills is magnificent! When my wife and I were renovating our dining room, we searched at length for a company that employed American carpenters and cabinetmakers, used sustainably harvested wood supplied by American lumber companies, and sold furniture directly to their customers at competitive prices. Pompanoosuc met these criteria. We visited its store in West Hartford, Connecticut and asked for guidance in selecting several pieces of furniture, including a table, chairs, sideboard, and console. Kristen, the saleswoman, devoted hours to our exploration and related inquiries. She was very knowledgeable. Equally important, she was patient. Our interactions with her were always pleasant; we would not have realized the objectives of our renovation without her thoughtful guidance. After we submitted our order, Kristen and the store’s manager, Rebekah, were conscientious in keeping us informed throughout the manufacturing process. On delivery day, my wife and I were impressed by Ian and Nate as they carried the furniture from their large Pompanoosuc truck the length of our driveway to our house. They arrived with hearty handshakes, took off their shoes to avoid damaging the floors, and positioned the furniture exactly as we requested. And every piece of furniture was perfect!All aspects of our experience as customers of Pompanoosuc Mills were spectacular. The company would be a worthy subject at business schools analyzing the culture of excellence - - trustworthiness, customer-focused service, and passionate workforce. Dwight Sargent, who founded Pompanoosuc Mills approximately 50 years ago, remains involved in the business. “I love shopping here! They have really nice items, reasonably priced, except for the clothes which were a little pricey but felt like good material, which is rare these days, so I understand! I found a sugar free Nutella (different brand) and I actually like it more than the real Nutella, especially since I need to watch my glucose intake. They have sugar free syrups as well that you can use in cocktails or coffee, too! Nice selection of fair trade/ethically sourced dark roast coffee that they can grind for you there. I actually chatted with two cashiers, very nice girls. The furniture looks great and very stylish yet sturdy and long-lasting. They have a good selection of candles. And they have a huge selection of snacks from around the world. I like chips and candy from Japan and Central/South America because it has more flavor or nice kick to it ?️ and they have a large selection of stuff to choose from, if you're like me. Lots of sales going on currently. I always come back for the sugar free Nutella but I try to try something new every time I go. I'm hoping to get a ceramic pot next time I go, they have them! The pics I have are random because I wasn't taking them with writing a review in mind. Also, I thought the stop sign was pretty hilarious. Idk who's face is the sticker but we had a good laugh while driving away ?❤️”
“This is a really good store. If you used to love shopping at Pier 1, the experience here will be similar, thankfully with less emphasis on the wall of candle smells. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, order pick up is seamless, and the store is well stocked with tasty imported snacks, seasonally appropriate decor, and good quality furniture.”

If you're an antique lover you'll lose your cool walking in here. The selection of items is rather staggering. Great old furniture, nick knacks, jewelry, watches, an impressive assortment of odds and ends. It's easy to lose track of time while browsing around in there.
