Northwest Park is a 473 acre municipal park open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Twelve miles of hiking trails explore forest, field and wetland habitats, and historic buildings are great place for learning. The nature center displays farm animals horses, cows, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, bunnies and a Donkey, and offered guided programs and special events for all ages. Soccer fields are always full of kids, and the ability to rent space is a plus for get‑togethers, kid parties and grills. The park is a sugar shack, playground, pond, dog park, public bathrooms and a gift shop, great spot for a perfect family day.
