“I have never been a fan of "Gas Station" grub. But Alltown Fresh on Dixwell Ave. Hamden is a pleasant exception. Stopped in and coffee os fresh brewed. Breakfast sandwiches are made in front of you, high quality and delicious. Definitely my mew go to place when passing thru Hamden. Right off exit 60 pf Wilbur Cross Parkway.”

The only thing I don't like is when they have different people preparing the food, and some don't know what they're doing. The team they had in the beginning was great, but now, I only go when Ali is behind the counter or that new girl.”

“Pump gas at this location Shell gas station needed a jump. The clerk young man in the Shell gas station did not even help me, but yet he sold me Jumper cables 12.99,24.99 .I went across Street to Fred's to a local shop in the area not far from one of my homes.I asked a young man to Assist Immediately with the battery charging. He was very responsive and quiet & assisted! Please support this gas station.They have morals here.I was born in an Era where people help each other! Support this location. Regular gas is 2.99 per gallon premium, which is use is 3.89. Nice!”
“My first time here at all town fresh today. First it was early this morning to get a coffee. The person on duty was super friendly and also explained to me about the rewards program. I returned later for lunch and had an amazing wrap and also tried some samples That were being offered. The chicken in the wrap had a delicious smoky flavor and a little spiciness to it, which was delicious. The staff were very friendly, and the place is super clean. I will definitely be returning here and spreading the word.”

“Good place, always clean, there is almost never parking near the entrance, the bathrooms are inside the premises where they ask for a Cotsco membership card to enter. Junk food here is very cheap! I really always enjoy coming shopping for fruits and vegetables with my kids here.”

“REALLY good coffee, the gentleman working the counter was very nice. Only down side is there is no fountain pop machine so no ice for my water jug. I can't imagine where you could put one but that was my main reason for stopping.
It's a very small truck stop with only maybe 3 truck parking spots but it's easy on and off the interstate.”

“GUY THAT IS USUALLY ALWAYS THERE THAT I DEAL WITH IS A COOL DUDE. IF YOUR A REGULAR THEY TAKE PRETTY GOOD CARE OF YOU. THEY DIDN'T CARRY SOMETHING I USUALLY GET AND ASKED IF HE COULD GET IT AND WAS THERE A WEEK LATER CAN'T BEAT THAT. IT'S LOCATION IS GOOD RIGHT OFF HIGHWAY JUST NEED TO BE CAREFUL LEAVING AS TO THE TRAFFIC LIGHT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE GAS STATIONS ENTRANCE SO PAY EXTRA ATTENTION!!!!”

“I stopped here to fill up my work vehicle today. The price per gallon is a little steep, especially for an Exxon. I realize prices are going up all over Connecticut and beyond, but this place is a tad over the state average.
I know the tanks were replaced not too long ago, so the pumps have been replaced as well as the tanks, so everything is up to date and is working well.
The receipt printed at the pump, which I like. There is no hand sanitizer, only a handful of spiderwebs.
The facilities look to be clean. I didn't go inside, so I can't comment in regards to the staff. They have a small store here as well.
I don't like the fact they charge higher prices for using a credit card to pay, especially considering it is a Mobil/Exxon card.
I noticed one of the reviews mentioned they were a regular customer and wished diesel was sold here - well, now they sell diesel!
Overall, not a bad place to stop to refuel...”

“Purchased my dream Jeep from Sonny at Ernies in October 2020 for a solid price. They helped through every step of the process and were incredibly easy to work with. Had a small issue with the emblem on the vehicle peeling off, they fixed it right away. Just had an issue with the brake pads, fixed right away as well. Have had a great experience with them so far, would recommend.”

“Nice brand new store plus it has a DD in it what more could you ask for? Sometimes if you're a Walk-In you have to wait because they give the drive thru priority same as the one on 63 THEY'RE EVEN WORSE then this DD”

“It's rare we have such gentle experiences in service area or gas station shops. Went with my 2 little boys who needed restroom and the kind gentleman gave key to a clean bathroom. And then very sweetly let my kids take some hot chocolate for free. If you are travelling with kids please stop by in the gas station stop!”
