“This is easily the best aquarium shop in the northeast. Bob, the owner, is wildly knowledgeable of all types of aquariums, corals, and products. The store is newly expanded & renovated. They have many modern acrylic aquarium kits and one of the best selection of fresh and saltwater fish I’ve ever seen. “I have been a client now for more than 2 decades. The staff goes through many changes, and some were fantastic, I still miss Scott, and others not so much. On 7/12/2024 I recently stopped in the Orange CT Store and the new team members were great. They were very customer focused and really seem to care. I also was touched that they still donate and ask client's if they would like to support by purchasing a can of food, or toy etc. As we all know the human touch is not present when one chooses an online option and thought about this as I left with a smile as I really enjoyed my shopping experience.”

“Great staff, very helpful and willing to help without asking. Needed cat food that has been hard to find, they put their order in and contacted me to inform me that they did receive the cat food I've been looking for. Great to know they have my back, one less stress to worry about. I don't have to order online from other pet stores due to the order either canceling or item being on backorder. I know PSP will get a shipment and will contact me if the product I'm needing arrived. Koko and I are both very happy customers. ?”

“They do a superb job grooming, never had a clipper burn, ever! My dog went to them his whole life. They met his needs no matter what he had going on esp. as he aged. He loved getting groomed by Little Shop and they loved him. They brought out his regal poodleness.”
“Went in there hoping to find Blue Buffalo products. Saw there some for the dogs, barely any for cats. Cat section for wet food was scarce. Lots for medical food which is good to know. Staff seemed friendly. I wouldn't go there expecting to find a lot of variety, but in a pinch its a nice store stop by quickly.”

“The folks here are outstanding. My pup is on immuno-suppressants and blood thinner so she can’t be with other dogs. They not only took her after hours, they added a half-hour post-closing and before we arrived so they could make sure it was clean for her. The groomer took great care with her and was careful to not do anything that would risk cutting her. I’d give them ten stars if I could.”
“Bob is such a responsible breeder. He replies messages quickly. He gave me a strong (102grams 12weeks), healthy, cute hand-feed cockatiel?. He will answer your questions after you bring your birds back, and he will check the birds situation, which is responsible way for birds’ lives to me. My cockatiel , Fanfan, learned how to eat and drink when he comes home. And he is close to people, which is what I wanted.All in all, it’s a good place to pick your hand feed birdies.”
“My go-to for the needs of groundskeeping and pet foods. If you're into landscaping this is the place. In addition to their Great Prices, they are extremely helpful in information about pest control. I'm not trying to harm anyone's animals, have to be very careful in what you use for rodent deterrent.”

“I had such an amazing experience and being that I work in customer service I feel like employees dont get enough recognition when its truly deserving. I went in today (2/12/26) and Holly from front end took care of me. She walked me through the store suggesting things to buy for my guinea pigs, and even helped with certain things for my dog. She was beyond knowledge and definitely took her job seriously. I am so happy with my experience and believed she deserves some acknowledgement ?”
“Amazing staff for grooming. I take my short haired dog for nail trim and buff monthly and recently started taking our longer haired dog as well and they did his paws and face So much better than other groomers who go for just the look. Here they actually cleared up the hair around his eyes and between his paw pads so he wasnt slipping around as much and can actually see. Staff in general is always friendly and store is well kept with plenty of high quality products.”
“Wish I really did more looking for a food my dog will only eat with her dried food. She loves Freshpet roll but it was small breed. Target was only place that had it and 80% time out of stock. I found this one in pics at whole foods and same day delivery. However it was 5 or 6 lbs and cost plus delivery was 40 dollors. I found same brand but specifically for her size, shes 50-45 lbs. Its still turkey, cranberries, blueberries and spinach roll. Only difference no pumpkin and i chose grainfree. Another great part free delivery no $$ limit. You only pay for items and tip driver if you choose. Always in stock, arrives exactly when stated, kept cold never just left randomly. They come to my door because I live in a condominium. Staff I had spoke to at various times friendly, courteous and make sure that whatever you're seeking they give you actual factual information. I 100% recommend. I use North Haven store. I live in Hamdem.”

“The staff is always so pleasant and helpful at this location. I want to shout out Shawn - the absolute nicest staff member there. I was flying solo with my extremely anxious pitbull at the vet clinic on a very hot day today - and I had to run back inside to give something to vet, but didn’t want to have to bring her. Shawn was kind enough to stay with my running car so she could sit in the AC and I could go in alone, stress free. I took about 5-7 minutes in there, and he was so kind to help me out.”
