Bacchus Wine Cellar is a fun shop on Wisconsin Ave with a comfortable and welcoming vibe. The tiny room has walls lined with an extensive inventory of wine and spirit bottles, including many beautiful selections. They offer exceptional wines, from reasonably priced daily bottles to rare, impressive collectibles for special occasions, and also have a great selection of whiskeys, bourbons, and tequila. The owners are lovely, hospitable, and very knowledgeable, providing superb service with helpful suggestions. They host tastings from time to time, creating a scene where locals and new customers can feel like part of a small multigenerational group. It is a go-to place where even a wine novice does not feel intimidated.

Superb service with knowledgeable suggestions, exceptional wines both on the rare spectrum for special occasions and many reasonable priced daily wines. They also have a great selection of whiskeys and bourbons. The go to place for sure
