About Bread for the City
Bread for the City is a clean and nice place that makes a huge difference in people's lives. It helps Washington, DC residents living with low income by providing food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services. The organization has a food pantry, a medical clinic, and a dental clinic. Appointments do not take long, often available the next day. The doctors and staff are very nice, knowledgeable, caring, and respectful, taking good care of everyone. They treat clients with dignity and respect, taking care of everyone no matter who they are. The process for getting fresh food is great and handled professionally. Bread for the City seeks justice through community organizing and public advocacy, working to uproot racism and reduce the burden of poverty. Many would gladly recommend it to anyone needing assistance.

It doesn’t take long for an appointment. You call one day & be seen the next day. They also have a food pantry & a dental clinic too.
