I ordered a pair of shoes from this store and paid for them. They said the shoes I ordered on Monday would arrive on Wednesday. However, when I went on Wednesday, they said the order had not been created and they would refund the money. This behavior victimizes the customer. I don't find this right.

I can't say enough good things about Lamont and his team at the Georgetown store when I stopped by this weekend. I've been looking for comfortable yet stylish shoes for work for a few years. They were very patient with me while I tried on numerous pairs. And they didn't try to pressure me into buying for the sake of buying. In fact, Lamont went out of his way to make sure that I got the best deal possible. Very impressed with the service. Been a loyal customer of Comfort One Shoes for a long time (with a short break when lived elsewhere for a few years), and Lamont and his team are a key reason why. Thank you!

Worst experience with customer service for Birkenstock resoling. $110 and they needed 6 weeks to get them back to me. And only because I was chasing them. No apologies at all from customer service or team. Could have bought brand new pairs for $20 more and they would have been delivered within a few days without any troubles.
Update:
I have reached out to to the manager as requested and had a very friendly talk about my experience with the shop which ended in a very generous forthcoming from her to make things right. Thanks so much for offering the solution here which makes me open again to come back to the store and give it another chance.

Got great service at this location compared to DuPont Circle. The selection is a little bit smaller than the other location, but is presented in a more thoughtful way.

The store has a variety of shoes, something to work for everyone. Stephen is the best sales person, patient, knowledgeable and a quick wit as well. He’s a real added value to the store.and Comfort Shoes and the client are lucky to have him. This one is in Georgetown.
