Fundrise is an online real estate investment platform that enables individuals to diversify into commercial and residential properties across the United States. The platform offers various account levels, allowing investors to choose an investment option that suits their needs and financial capacity. Fundrise pools investments from multiple investors to purchase and manage real estate properties, providing access to the real estate market for those who may not have the substantial capital typically required for direct investments. The platform's investments are typically long-term, with a suggested minimum investment horizon of five years to potentially see significant returns. While Fundrise charges a 1% annual fee, which includes asset management and investment advisory fees, the reported historical annual returns have ranged from 8% to 12%, though these figures are not guaranteed. Investors have praised the platform's ability to facilitate quick liquidations when needed, with minimal hidden fees. However, like any investment, Fundrise carries risks. Real estate investments are sensitive to market conditions, economic cycles, and property-specific issues. The liquidity is also limited, and the redemption program offered by Fundrise is not guaranteed. Overall, Fundrise provides a way for individuals to diversify into real estate investments, with a long-term investment horizon and the potential for solid returns. Investors should carefully consider the risks and their investment goals before committing to Fundrise.
Terrible investment returns. Continues to lose me money. Too focused on new initiatives and bringing in more money, as opppsed to investment returns. Avoid

I’ve been investing with Fundrise since 2019 and have lost 9%. I’m slowly trying to get my money out, but it’s highly illiquid. Don’t use this platform, go anywhere else.

Bad experience - probably would have been better off just putting money in a regular savings account or a general market index fund. I actually lost money over the course of a few years. Thankfully, I didn't put much in with them.
