“Simply Investing is an amazing course run by an amazing person in Kanwal Sarai. With this course, I am comfortable with my investment choices and my time horizon is long enough such that I don't really care about the short-term fluctuations. Dividends matter a bunch and are essential for wealth growth. In my Roth IRA, I invested $16,000 total and I have about $21,300 (31.39% overall). This was over a two-year span. The volatility is much less than the market. I learned all of this from Kanwal's class. I highly suggest anyone who is interested in dividend investing to take the class. You won't be disappointed(8 months ago)”

“I have no complaints about PNC bank locations. When I go into any branch I am treated with respect and as a valued customer. But this morning I discovered by email from PNC, that a check that I had deposited into my PNC account, yesterday was unsigned and the monies were being debited back from my account. I called the 888 PNC Bank number, got a representative who told me that the check was still at the PNC bank location, and I could go there and retrieve it. It took me about 30 minutes to get there. Once there I was told that the customer service representative was WRONG! The check has to be sent back to me and is not at the branch. If the 888 number representative do not know the answer to a question, they should say so. The proper response should have been, "I do not know. What branch location...Here is that branch's number."”

“After getting nowhere with the branch at Dupont Circle, Elida Guzman at Farragut North went out of her way to be sure our estate issue was taken care of. We only had one day in town, and she stayed past hours working with the Estate Care team to get our problem resolved. She is a true asset to Wells Fargo, and I'd highly recommend this branch. I wish I could remember the teller's name because that awesome young lady, as our first contact, was also very reassuring and competent, and as soon as we stepped into the branch and spoke with her, we were confident that they could help us. If you bank at Wells Fargo in the DC area, this is definitely the branch to go to.”

“Excellent service. Ashley was extremely pleasant and helped me out, and I am a former client/customer. I've been to the location three times and always the same standard.”

“I walked in during a weekday around lunchtime. The branch was fairly empty of customers. I made eye contact with and was immediately greeted by Fatima B. I explained to her my issue regarding a service fee, which she was kindly able to reverse after hearing me out. Fatima was friendly, professional, prompt, and helpful. She also educated me on the interest-bearing benefit that I already had on one of my accounts with PNC that I was not aware of. She explained how it worked and the pros of making use of the perk. I thanked her, she handed me a business card for any follow-up questions, and I departed. I definitely recommend this branch and the stellar staff member, Fatima, who not only resolved my issue satisfactorily and without being put off, she also went above and beyond by ensuring that I was fully aware of the benefits available to me. Great downtown DC location!”

“Many of the reviews on this page seem to deal with people trying to cash checks for relatively large sums. They do not state that they are PNC customers or that they have ever done business with this brach for anything else. I have been a customer here for 20+ years, I have three bank accounts, our mortgage, my business account, a home equity line of credit, and have financed two cars with them. I have never received anything but professional service. The staff is courteous and friendly and they always have time to address any issue I have had, no matter how big or small. I recommend the Adams Morgan branch without reserve, when you sit down with any of their representatives you will be treated with respect and like a human.”

“This review isn't specifically about this branch (although someone at this branch helped me set up my account, and he was awesome), as it is about Schwab's amazing customer service. Yesterday, I called the cust serv 800 no. with a question about the difference between two ticker symbols of this one international stock. Although the rep I first spoke with wasn't able to help me, she quickly transferred me to a broker who could, and I didn't sit on hold for even three minutes. The broker solved my problem in a snap, and I'm a happy shareholder today. I'm a massive advocate of youngsters investing, so if you're looking to start, even if you have very little money, look no further than Charles Schwab (unless you're really broke, then look to Sharebuilder. I had a good experience with them, but had to switch to Schwab because of my job). Excellent customer service, decently priced trades, and a pretty easy-to-navigate website. Highest regards!”

“This location has a parking lot which is very convenient. I had an appointment at 10am and they helped me right away! Sadreika helped me with my PNC account, she was very helpful and super friendly. I will definitely be back!”

“This is another good location of PNC Bank. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help the moment you enter the branch. If the tellers are busy servicing a customer, someone always walks me over to their desk and take care of most of my banking needs. This branch (like other PNC branches) totally rocks!”

“I gave this bank a bad review the other day because it was so frustrating trying to wire money from them to my local bank. But, after trying it 4 times, with their help, we finally got it to go. And, then I found out I had screwed up the routing number for where it was supposed to go. So, today, I called them back, and we were able to get it to go through to the correct bank this time, and it went through the first time. The ladies working in the wire transfer area are really nice and helpful, and patient. So, I give PNC high marks today.”
