Hardy Recreation Center is a great community park with many amenities. It features beautiful playgrounds for both little and older kids, with climbing options, tall slides, swings, and a splash pad. The park also offers a field, tennis and basketball courts, outdoor exercise apparatuses, workout stations, a dog park, and a community garden. There are plenty of benches, a picnic area, and public bathrooms. With lots of shade and easy street parking, it is one of the best summer playground options in the city, serving the neighborhood well.
Great park, great activities, great dog community! Serves the neighborhood well for youth sports, outdoor exercise apparatuses, kids playgrounds, and tennis/b-ball courts.Would be a shame to lose such a great community park, since these almost never get made after other things are built on top of them.

Really nice park with spot for kids, dogs, adults to exercise. Extremely well planned. Great job city of Washington!
