“I've been to Labyrinth before, since I come to Eastern Market a lot. However, I recently got really into board games, so the last time I visited, I knew I had to buy a game that I really liked (King of Tokyo). The employees are very friendly and willing to help you pick out a game, and they have an excellent selection of games, including traditional games, modern games, and kids games. They also have a seating area in the back where they host various game events. When I last visited, they were hosting a kids event for Pokemon cards, which seemed pretty cool. The games are admittedly pricier than they are at a place like Amazon (the game I bought was over 20% pricier), but I personally don't mind since I'm supporting a cool local shop, and I knew for sure that I really loved the game that I bought. . I definitely plan on coming back here and buying many more games.”

“My favorite place visited during my trip, staff was friendly and kind. The shop was designed well and item’s featured were done great, lots of things to choose from and options available. For the size of the store compared to other large boxy art places back home this shop was definitely better than them and I felt more welcomed and one with art here. Came back twice during my 5 day stay in DC, and it was nice for them to have student discounts as well!!”

“Very friendly staff, helped a guy new to the DnD game figure things out in a welcoming way. Host a weekly board game night on Thursdays that also includes some "drop-in" DnD opportunities. I'm not a big card game guy or complicated board games guy in general, but if you are--this place seems to have them all. Miniatures, too, and plenty of paints if that's your thing. Highly recommend if you're in the area and a games fan!”

“I am so glad this place opened. Just one more great thing about Old Town. Organized gaming is friendly and they seem to be able to keep good stock of popular games and paraphernalia. I try and buy something every time I visit. The trading card games are my favorite.”

“The best shop I’ve ever played at. I mainly play Magic and this is the only shop that I’ve ever been that just feels like a great place to hang out with some friends and just catch some games. Looking to play commander? Well come on almost any day and they’ll be some people play with. They have fair prices and the largest selection of cards I’ve ever seen. Overall probably the best card shop in the DMV.”

“This is a fantastic little hobby shop with very friendly staff and reasonable prices. While the store isn't spacious, it has the essentials for a variety of modeling pursuits, including modern military (aircraft, armor, infantry), Gunpla, and model trains with a decent paint, tools, and accessories selection and a smattering of toys. I am very happy to make them my go-to local hobby stop.”

“I live on base at Joint Base Andrews and was surprised to find a game store so close by. It's a bit hard to find as you have to drive through the KFC parking lot to get to it but it's totally worth it.The owner of the store is super nice and welcome and the overall atmosphere of the store was friendly. Even though we came in right upon opening there were already a few people sitting down playing magic. This is definitely going to be my go to spot for Warhammer 40k. They have table setups and paint supplies, glue and air brushes. The owner stated he could also place orders for people through games workshop. Check this place out! :)”

“Went on a Thursday night. A 10 table restaurant. Charming, with upstairs cigar bar. There were only 2 other tables served besides our table of 4. We had a business meeting, needed to have conversation in a low noise environment. This restaurant perfect! Waiter was very friendly without being familiar, patient and kind. Delightful! The Aracinni , fried artichoke heart appetizers were excellent. Warm bread with seasoned olive oil was addictive. Mushroom ravioli entree wasn't as hated as I'd liked but was flavorful and delicious. Caesar salad was excellent. I'd recommend this restaurant!”

“The staff is so knowledgeable and personable. They will happily answer any questions you have or will just talk sports with you. The store has a surprisingly large selection of anything sports related; including memorabilia, cards, games, and clothing. They also have a large section of pokemon cards and collectibles. We have shopped with them for years and I can't recommend them enough.”

“I came in here looking for Pokemon cards and was able to find a few that I didn't have. They have their cards organized by era which is very helpful for finding specific cards. They also have each card individually priced around the price of what each card goes for usually trending a little less.”

He took the time to show me how to care for the puppets and had some very fascinating stories to tell while I was shopping. “Al and Ali repaired by flag pole and did an Amazing job! They both went above and beyond to take care of something I love so much. They were personable, fun to be around and were even willing to educate me on their profession and about my own flag pole - I am so grateful to them both and especially the owner, who truly takes pride in his family-owned business. Thank you - you have a loyal customer for life!”

“Very impressed with the attention and service I received. David spent the needed time to assess, and answer all of questions I had regarding the inherited stamp collection I brought into the shop. As we were talking, several customers came in and each was greeted and treated "like family". I will return again.”

“I came here today for something very specific that no other store carries. That would be dye for clothes. Specifically it was the Rit dye that I was looking for in the colors of straight black and navy blue. I walked around the aisles for a minute until I finally decided to ask someone for assistance. Tina walked with me to the correct aisle half of which was dedicated to nothin but dye and other colorants. Unfortunately it appeared that they were sold out of the navy blue, and I grabbed the last of the black Rit dye and headed to the checkout. Their prices seemed reasonable considering how expensive everything else in the world has become. Interestingly they already have Christmas trees and a whole separate aside dedicated to Christmas decorations already setup. I guess 2+ months isn't early enough for some place to get started!”
