About L'Enfant Plaza
L'Enfant Plaza is one of the bigger stations in the DC Metro system and a great hub that connects all of the lines. It services the yellow, green, orange, silver, and blue lines, making transferring fairly easy because of the clear signage, though some directional signage on the lower platforms could be clearer. The station is well-located, only a couple of blocks from the National Mall and the museums. The architecture features an arched roof and typical brutalist design, and the station is generally in good repair and more modern than many others. It is a very convenient Metro station with multiple stops, so you don't have to wait very long for the next train. New monitors indicate train arrivals and the number of cars. There are always police around. However, exiting can sometimes be confusing. A noted drawback is the lack of seating, as there are no concrete benches for customers to sit. While not a place to hang out, it is a generally reliable and convenient connection hub.

As with all of the stations getting old and in need of repairs and updates. Elevators keep breaking down making it hard for travelers and handicap people.

Large metro station, a little confusing, and can you use a bit of a cleanup. Otherwise, it's a very good transit hub in a busy section.

Traveling to church for 8:30 am Sunday school. I arrived 7 minutes late yet I made it in time.
