  This is one of the highlights of Our Nation's Capitol. The Mall has so many monuments and museums. One of the great things about most museums is that they are free and accessible so there aren't a lot of detergents to visiting. The Mall is open and beautiful. It oozes history.   Awesome site to visit. I reccomend going at night because less people and easier to park. Open 24 hrs

  A lengthy, wide, sanded walk, leading from the Lincoln Memorial all the way to the Capitol. To walk its length, you will definitely need to bring water. If not, there's a
  Snack and Refreshment site available along the mall, on the north edge. Some shaded areas also along the north edge.
