Solid State Books is an independent bookstore proudly serving the 14th Street Corridor and the DC area. The shop carries a diverse selection of books and gifts for adults and children and hosts dynamic programs and events. People can find a new favorite book, share ideas, meet authors and make new discoveries and connections. The second location on 14th Street is big with every section of books imaginable, a large kids section in the back and local gifts for sale. The selection is always intriguing with great recommendation for all ages and employees are a joy. The carpeted kids area, the lovely vibe and the open space make flip through pages not crowded. People swing by for a treat, rain storm, and are thrilled to have a lovely neighborhood bookstore.

Cute little bookstore near Logan circle! The staff was helpful, and there was a great selection of books. Definitely worth the visit and shop local.
