The ATM is no longer available outside of business hours. The doors are firmly locked from the outside and inside the building. As this was my primary banking site, I am highly disappointed.

I am rating the SunTrust Bank Branch of New Mexico Avenue, NW DC. Trying to reach the manager by phone I was sent away by a voice telling me to dial again because my call did not get through. I did it four times with the same result. I am also rating the online banking accessibility. My password and UN were authenticated on several occasions after spending more than 45 minutes on the phone. Today, same situation. My account was blocked "for my own security" because of my many attempts to get into it, according to an e-mail sent by the bank. They gave me a number to call in order to unfreeze my account. I called that number. The electronic voice told me that my account is no longer blocked. But it was still blocked. I called the phone number given by the message. But I heard I had to wait for 30 minutes to talk to a representative. I had already spent 1h15 minutes on the phone and had to attend to other tasks ! Since SunTrust have merged with TRUIST, MY online banking has become terribly inefficient. In the course of the last two weeks I spent a total of 3 hours to reset authenticated passwords in order to look at my accounts and do some money transfers. The solution? Changing bank?

Have been banking with Sun Trust, Foxhall Square for nearly 10 years (whenever I am in DC - though my account has been in use constantly whether I am in or out of town). Over the years I have been served by a number of branch managers, assistant managers, tellers and others. Always, always polite and helpful. I would not change my account to another bank, nor to another branch of Sun Trust. Am a very content client.

After a bad experience with the service at the Branch on M Street in Georgetown, I went to this Branch and had the completely opposite experience. Acknowledged shortly after I walked into the bank. Was told someone would be with me soon. Someone was - Veronica Epps. She was cordial, professional, and helpful.

Terrible customer service. Took me 45 min to send a western union over seas! No reason for all the hoops. Ridiculous. I will not be returning.
