Tenleytown Ace Hardware is a unique store located in the parking garage level of the Cityline building, a space many associate with the old Hechinger building. It offers great service, a great inventory, validated parking, and decent prices. Customers find it incredibly convenient and frequent it for everything from plants and fertilizer to mouse traps and key cutting. The staff are consistently described as knowledgeable, patient, kind, and helpful. They are great at teaching and giving advice without being condescending, often going above and beyond to assist. Employees reliably guide customers to what they need and help select the best solutions for projects, sometimes spending significant time walking through steps and tool rentals. This uniquely impressive level of customer service makes people want to continue coming back. The store receives kudos for its great care and for having a team that provides incredible help.
