The Bullpen is a lively outdoor venue and the original home base for Nationals fans, located just steps from Nats Park in Navy Yard. This popular spot is ideal for pre-game gatherings, offering free admission, live music, and a variety of cold drinks. Guests can enjoy delicious food from food trucks and a large bar area, making it a great place to unwind with friends before or after a baseball game. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, drawing in both locals and visitors alike. While the experience is generally enjoyable, some reviews mention that it can get quite hot, especially during events like the afrobeats and Wine Festival, suggesting the need for more fans and seating options. The Bullpen features a mix of smaller shops and vendors, allowing for a diverse experience, although bathrooms are limited to portapotties. Overall, The Bullpen is well-loved for its friendly staff, great live music, and the exciting energy of game days, making it a must-visit destination for anyone in D.C. looking to celebrate the love of baseball.
It was pleasant, a plethora amount of people, all behaving well, enjoying the scene! Excellent location, orderly and lots of fun!😁

Drinks were great, service was fantastic. I’m not mad I’m just disappointed that security ate my cheese curds. You know who you are. -_-

The Bullpen is a cool spot for summer events. I recently went to a fall R&B event which turned out to be nice. The spot has a laid-back atmosphere that is tough to find anywhere else in D.C. It genuinely feels like a huge backyard party.
