“THE MIRACLE THEATRE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST THEATRE IN WASHINGTON DC and it's one of the historic theaters. I was looking at INSTAGRAM REELS AND it's nice to get familiar about what the theater looks like and they have nice shows and comedy club. I highly recommending finding things to do in DC in AUGUST.”

“Absolutely fantastic DC Watch show hosted by none other than the Mr. Time Bum! And it’s completely FREE to the public! What an event, soo many watch companies (many of whom are stellar micro-brands), the place was packed with enthusiasts! We only went on March 8th but it’s a two day event. So many brands to discover, and so many opportunities to buy fantastic watches at a large discounts. But most important of all, you get to try watches that are usually only available online. Great atmosphere overall, wasn’t too crowded to the point where you couldn’t move. You actually get to talk in person to brand owners and their reps. And they even have daily giveaways!”

“I absolutely love Yards Park, especially during the summertime when I’m able to go on runs there. For example, today I only planned to run a mile, but because the scenery and atmosphere are so nice, I ended up running longer. It’s such a pretty area to walk, run, or just hang out by the water. It’s also home to some of my favorite spots, including Osteria Morini and Barry’s, which makes the area even better. Overall, it’s one of my favorite places in DC and such a perfect spot to spend time when the weather is nice.”

“We had our wedding at HQO, and we had an amazing time. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and spacious. We had 145 people at our wedding and everyone fit comfortably. We worked with Raul throughout the wedding planning process, and he was a pleasure to work with. We had lots of meetings and walkthroughs to coordinate everything with HQO and our vendors, and the process was smooth and Raul was so helpful and friendly throughout.”

“This venue is absolutely stunning. It’s been several months after our wedding and we consistently still have guests telling us how beautiful our ceremony venue was. It has a breathtaking view of the Capitol and is extremely well maintained. We fit our 160 wedding guests under the provided tents for our ceremony with room to spare. Suzanne and the entire staff were a delight to work with and they really saved the day by accommodating us by scheduling a tour and our event very quickly after having our original venue cancel only 5-weeks before the big day.”

“Not far from Saint Ann’s Catholic Church on Wisconsin Avenue, I had my wedding reception here many years ago! We had both fireplaces going in the beautiful ballroom that accommodated a long rectangular table for the wedding party and eight round tables for guests. There was plenty of room for the buffet table, a band, and dancing on the parquet floor. You have to bring in your own caterer – we hired Ridgewells who did an AMAZING job and really impressed the new in-laws! ;) Plenty of parking on the street. It’s a great place to start some of the best memories of your life!”

“We had an absolute blast at Insomnia Escape Room! We played The Alchemist and found it to be well-designed (and fun!). The Experience & Difficulty I’ve done several escape rooms before, and while I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the difficulty, I think it’s very subjective. We were a group of two—and while our daily work involves a lot of analytical thinking, which definitely helped—the key is really just being attentive to detail. It’s a fair challenge! We did ask for three tips during the game, and the response from the staff was lightning-fast. Location Tips A heads-up for finding the place: it isn’t on the main Georgetown avenue with all the restaurants, but it's very close by. Keep an eye out for the small Insomnia Escape Room signs and stay alert as you're arriving. It’s a nice spot because once you're finished, you're within easy walking distance of plenty of dinner options. The Staff The highlight of our visit, though, was our game hostess, Martina. She was truly the best—so nice, engaging, and high-energy. Her customer service is top-tier and she made the whole experience feel personal and exciting. If you go, definitely ask for her!”

The staff was very friendly and the tour was lovely. The replicas of the first lasdy's dresses was both cool and slightly creepy in only the way a room for dolls can be. But to see such fashion so close up was cool. And lunch was delicious!”

The view was incredible- particularly at sunset and at night and the venue/view is easily the number 1 thing our guests have complimented us on! Delmy was our venue coordinator and she was incredible- truly one of the reasons we booked Capitol View and she more than delivered. She makes everything run smoothly and is so responsive! She went above and beyond for us - she helped us secure candles, recommended vendors (all of whom were amazing), and promised us good weather! Capitol View was a dream come true!”

“Came here for a after-hours party so to be honest, this is more of a review about that party than it is about the house itself. The party occurred in what I assume to be the courtyard; it was covered (though the weather was nice out for March), with beautiful lighting. But crazily enough, the space was HUGE. Absolutely gorgeous. If you're looking to host a large party, I 100% recommend this location. The set-up was fantastic. I have NO clue where the food came from, but whoever catered was phenomenal (I had the best cheesecake bites I have EVER let my tastebuds experience). While waiting 45 min for this lyft to arrive, I decided to venture around the house (with the guide). The house itself is pretty bare, but I love it's simplicity. It was of course quiet, though you could hear the faint sounds of the party outside. I completely forgot that we were SO close to the white house, could have gone for a night stroll, but didn't. Overall, this was a fun experience and I am glad I got to enjoy it in such a way.”

“AutoShop is the latest venture from Edens, the owners of Union Market and most other development in the Union Market District. Housed in an old auto shop near St. Anselm, it's a large industrial space used for events. I attended a week-long art event at AutoShop and it was the perfect venue. You walk up a concrete ramp or stairs to the second level. You're in a large open space that's industrial with brick walls, high ceilings, and exposed pipes. There are new restrooms in the back and two other rooms off to the side with old windows offering views of the old Union Market. I've heard it's expensive to rent, but if you can swing it, it's a fun space with a rich history.”

“2.09.2026: Today, I actually took the leap and covered this beautiful and historic space. I was somewhat surprised to find that it's a functional building on the ground floor. On the 2nd and 3rd floors are high ceilinged rooms that exhibits art from the local practitioners of the arts. There were hardly any people there, and, I had the place mostly to myself.... always a good thing. The highlight of the visit was the awesome wrought iron gate that surrounds Hill Center. I'm a sucker for black metal...and even more so for ancient black metal. Let alone that the design of the gate was worth it's place in a Hollywood movie. The gate did it for me.”

“Update from a previous review: This is my third time staying at The Dupont Circle, and we got off to a pretty rocky start. However, the staff was determined not to let a few challenges prevent them from providing the stellar service that they are known for. Upon check-in, my wife and I were immediately assisted with our bags and escorted to the elevator. Our penthouse suite was absolutely splendid - it offered 180 degree views of D.C., comfortable seating on the balcony, and automatic blackout curtains. However, the accommodations weren't even the best part of the stay; the staff, including Thomas and Lamond at the front desk and Abby at the Pembroke, truly made our stay unforgettable. They were attentive, kind, accommodating, and responsive to every request. To attest to the degree that they went above and beyond: I mentioned off-handedly that we were attending a Formula 1 event during the course of the weekend, and they centered several experiences around that seemingly innocuous comment. The Pembroke created a crafted dessert (with the F1 logo on the plate) and there was even a model F1 car in our hotel room during an evening turndown service. I am absolutely floored at the care and consideration of the staff, and I am definitely converted into a loyal repeat customer. As I visit DC often for work and play, as do many of my colleagues, I will be recommending The Dupont Circle from this point forward. Great job, team!”
