The Henley Park Hotel is a charming, older property located in a great area of Washington, DC. Despite its age, the hotel is well maintained, with clean grounds, a nice lobby, and a quaint atmosphere. The rooms are small but comfortable, with basic amenities such as a decent-sized bathroom and a comfortable bed. Guests appreciate the hotel's historic feel and its proximity to key locations, making it convenient for both work and leisure trips. The hotel offers excellent service, with staff members who are polite, attentive, and eager to anticipate guest needs. The younger doorman, in particular, is highlighted for going above and beyond to assist guests. An interesting feature is the bar, which has a cool zinc design, and guests enjoy the ice-cold water with lemon and oranges available in the lobby, especially after long walks or travel. The hotel also provides an excellent high tea service, with delicious scones and friendly staff, especially Jamal, who delivers terrific service. Guests value the affordable prices and the quiet, cozy atmosphere. While some find the rooms small with minimal amenities and experience slow WiFi, overall, visitors have a positive experience and would recommend the hotel for its location, friendly staff, and unique charm.
Excellent high tea available daily, but make reservations, as they bake for the reservations that morning. Excellent scones! Great value. Terrific service. Jamal did a lovely job.

This is my second time staying here for a nearby conference and I love it. The staff are great.

Overall a good experience. Staff was fantastic and the property is clean. The rooms are small with bare minimum amenities (no fridge for example). However, it is an old property.
