“What a wonderful long weekend! I was in town for business; everyone in the hotel cannot be nicer, sweeter, professional, warm, and efficient. The room (deluxe king) was clean and comfortable. The trip would not be as successful without staying at Corad hotel DC. The food was also so so so good. I had late night fried chicken sandwich (SO GOOD); and had the best avocado toast in a long while. The coffee was perfect too. Very impressed.”

“A top notch hotel! The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. We stayed for a long weekend and are coming back again for a second stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated with many amenities. And the location is ideal for visiting Georgetown or downtown DC. We enjoyed very much the bar/lounge area. A very cozy setting for a late drink or just a cup of tea/coffee with dessert.”

“Great location, centrally located. Everyone has been very nice and helpful! The rooms were very clean. I'll update at the end of our stay. The beds are super comfy, love the pillows! It was quiet too, so we had a great night's sleep! We had breakfast at the hotel, it is a buffet on weekends and holidays only. We got free breakfast with our stay (something Expedia gave us) and it would have been almost $100 for it. It was definitely a nice breakfast, but that is a little steep if you ask me. The last day we were here was a weekday and we had to order off the menu, very pricy but everything was excellent. Dolly is a fantastic employee! Very attentive and so nice! Cannot say enough amazing things about Raul upon checkout. He was awesome! Great visit!”

“Make sure you visit AJ at the Watering Hole bar outside the Intercontinental at the Wharf! He is the best and nicest bartender around and takes care of everyone, including the pups who visit! Highly recommend sitting outside for a drink or three.”

“The bed is comfortable. It is quiet and away from the busy road. The building appears clean and seems to be well maintained and regularly touched up. The room is not large. You can put your own drinks in the refrigerator. No snacks are provided, but there are 2 bottles of water. The shower has strong pressure. There is no ceiling light above the bed. The bathroom is modern.”

We love the rooms, the staff is absolutely amazing, and we got upgraded to a suite as we are celebrating my wife’s birthday and Valentines Day. The cafe is extremely nice and food was fantastic. If you like staying in historic building with amazing character, Hotel Lombardy is for you.”

“This is a top tier hotel experience for the Navy Yard area; we stayed for 2 nights for a baseball game and hitting some sites around DC and it was a great experience from time you exit your vehicle. The styling of the hotel is absolutely well thought out and beautiful. The details in the selection of the furniture to the flooring and all of the decor is a very classy vibe to say the least. The valet services were fast and organized, check in was extremely fast and our room had an amazing natural light with huge windows and a beautiful bathroom. My favorite part of this stay was the bellhop, Million, and his bright personality. In addition to the rooftop bar, the breakfast at Surveyor was incredibly good. Every staff member we came into contact with made us feel like we were their personal guest and it is a unique feeling in a hotel to receive that kind of hospitality from all the different levels of staffing involved in running a hotel this size.”

“Update from a previous review: This is my third time staying at The Dupont Circle, and we got off to a pretty rocky start. However, the staff was determined not to let a few challenges prevent them from providing the stellar service that they are known for. Upon check-in, my wife and I were immediately assisted with our bags and escorted to the elevator. Our penthouse suite was absolutely splendid - it offered 180 degree views of D.C., comfortable seating on the balcony, and automatic blackout curtains. However, the accommodations weren't even the best part of the stay; the staff, including Thomas and Lamond at the front desk and Abby at the Pembroke, truly made our stay unforgettable. They were attentive, kind, accommodating, and responsive to every request. To attest to the degree that they went above and beyond: I mentioned off-handedly that we were attending a Formula 1 event during the course of the weekend, and they centered several experiences around that seemingly innocuous comment. The Pembroke created a crafted dessert (with the F1 logo on the plate) and there was even a model F1 car in our hotel room during an evening turndown service. I am absolutely floored at the care and consideration of the staff, and I am definitely converted into a loyal repeat customer. As I visit DC often for work and play, as do many of my colleagues, I will be recommending The Dupont Circle from this point forward. Great job, team!”

“Honestly, one of the best days I’ve ever had in DC. Our company will definitely be using this Hotel again. I’m a dog lover, so it’s one of the most dog friendly hotels in the area. I mean, not notice I need disruption from the dogs staying here so I’m wondering if they keep them all on one . The staff went above and beyond in all aspects of service. This comes from a very well traveled person. Whoever is managing this, Hotel knows exactly what they’re doing by the people they hire. The Little hidden gem is the restaurant. Where they have a secret gluten-free menu. I was able to order this delicious gluten-free veggie egg Benedict! The lattes are pretty good too, no fancy coffee drinks, but a really good restaurant for breakfast and dinner.”

“We had a board retreat on a tight budget. This hotel was perfectly located - near Georgetown, George Washington University, near monuments and other attractions. The hotel has been remodeled … it bit of a throw back but clean and spacious rooms. We even had a separate kitchen area. Super comfy bed and good sheets. And 6 pillows on the bed. The daily housekeeping cleaned our room beautifully. And a nice closet. Staff at front desk very helpful. I would stay hear again for certain.”

“I loved the location and space. My room was so big and comfortable. The rooftop pool/bar is cute, the gym well equipped but a little small. Was traveling solo for work and the Viceroy was a great choice -- it was so easy to get around DC and so many good spots close by. Will return/recommend to others!”

“First of all, the location is great. I enjoyed jogging every morning to the White House, the Capitol, and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. There are many delicious restaurants and cafes nearby. This is the best location for sightseeing in Washington. It was a two-bedroom room, and one room had an independent bathroom and closet, so it was comfortable, and the other room had a wide bed and closet, so it was comfortable for four people to stay without being cramped. The living room was surprisingly spacious and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. (However, the knife was not very sharp.) I stayed for a week and enjoyed Washington to the fullest. I will definitely use it the next time I visit.”

“Just a fantastic hotel experience, the best I’ve ever had. Every single member of staff was pleasant and friendly. I got to have some brief conversation with a couple of people and it was a great experience to hear about the local area from someone who frequents it, and some fun stories about working hospitality in DC. The hotel itself is trendy, and feels very up to date. It’s not a sterile environment and feels comfortable with a few places to eat and drink as well as a really nice co working space. My favorite touch was the live DJ spinning vinyl by the front door with a stream you can scan a QR code for and view from your phone. It also seems like the music playing through the hotel when a DJ is present is from their mixing, which is a really great touch. Best of all, I had a situation that caused me to book this very last second for just a night, and needed if at all possible a check in at any point before 3 - their normal check in time. When I asked about that around 6:30 in the morning, I was told the cleaning team would be in roughly one hour from them and they would see if they could have a room ready. I heard back about an hour and a half later and was told that they wouldn’t have been able to get me in any sooner than 3 for my selected room, but gave me a free upgrade to a larger room and one I could check into at any time which we did at about 8:30 almost 7 hours ahead of normal check in time. I can not say how much we appreciate that hospitality and how truly surprised we were by that gesture. This will forever be the first look I give at any place to stay in DC.”

“Just checked out of the Grand Hyatt Washington after a fantastic stay, and I have to single out Shaheen Ahmadjan, their Director of Safety and Security. Shaheen was the best — professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect from start to finish. You can tell he cares about the people who walk through those doors. The hotel is beautiful and the location unbeatable, but it's people like Shaheen who make the difference. Grand Hyatt Washington is lucky to have him.”

“Clean pleasant room. Plan on it being very small. Not much room for our two open carry on size bags. If you are there long enough you can unpack and stow clothes away. Lovely bed sheets. Sweet robes. AWESOME location near business on the hill and museums. Staff are wonderful. I really missed having a coffee maker in our room. There is 24hr great coffee available on 2nd floor. But I did wish to not have to get dressed to go down right after waking. Bring a little cup water heater and some instant and it would be ok. I would recommend the Phoenix. Did 4 stars for small size and coffee thing. Might not suit everybody.”

“The Rosewood D.C. is an outstanding and exceptional hotel! Everything about it is the epitome of luxury and elegance. Our room was amazing, large and very well maintained. The on site restaurant - Cut by Wolfgang Puck - is also a five star establishment. Our food was delicious and expertly prepared. What makes the Rosewood even more exceptional is the staff. Mr. James Bonner, the Food and Beverage director, has done an outstanding job overall and has assembled a most excellent team. The following staff members provided exceptional service: Daniel and Kim at the front desk; Claire and Juan in Cut: Yasin in the Cut Above Lounge and Zelalem the valet, all exceptional professionals. We will be returning to the Rosewood and intend to stay at other Rosewood properties in the future.”

“Stayed at the Georgetown Inn at the end of August 2025 and loved it! The location is perfect—right in the middle of Georgetown with so many restaurants, shops, and cafés just steps away. Everyone on staff was super friendly, and housekeeping kept our room looking great the whole week. It felt safe, cozy, and even had a restaurant in the lobby with room service, which was a nice bonus. For what we paid, I think it was an awesome deal. I’d give it a solid 4.5/5. My only wish? A pool! That would’ve made the stay even better. Still, I’d go back in a heartbeat!”

“Stayed at the Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square and loved it. The location is perfect—right by the White House and Lafayette Square, with an easy walk to the Metro. The room was perfect, and the staff was genuinely warm and attentive without being overbearing. The people at the bar and in the breakfast restaurant were especially great, really nice, very attentive, and they made the whole stay feel personal. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, well-prepared, and the French toast was absolutely delicious. I’d go back just for that. The bar and restaurant downstairs are also great for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. A couple of small notes for couples: the shower was a bit tight, and there was only one bathrobe in the room. It would be helpful if the hotel asked whether guests are traveling as a couple so they could set up two robes ahead of time instead of waiting for people to request another. Would definitely stay here again—great pick for both business and leisure.”

“Great hotel, good location- easy walk to metro and even the white house, large comfortable rooms- we stayed with a 13 yo in a 1bdrm suite and it fitted us well. Really liked the breakfast with the made to order omelette. The happy hour in the evening with free drinks and snacks was a nice addition. And my favourite part was the playlist in the elevators 😁 (90's music 🎶)”
