The Normandy Hotel is a cozy, charming, and elegant boutique hotel in Washington DC. The ambiance is fantastic and the atmosphere is great, making it feel like a home. The staff is consistently described as top-notch, super friendly, helpful, patient, and accommodating. The location is perfect, awesome, and very convenient. It is in a very nice neighborhood near the Embassies, walkable to plenty of food options, shops, restaurants, and major attractions. It is close to Adams Morgan, DuPont Circle, and the Metro, though neighborhood parking is a hassle with limited spaces and expensive valet. The hotel is currently under construction, making the front a bit treacherous. Rooms are described as both cozy and spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, clean, and cute. They include a desk, fridge, and coffee maker. The finishes in the bathroom and bedroom are quite nice. The lobby lounge offers plenty of seating and the hotel provides a complimentary wine and cheese hour. Breakfast is available for an extra charge. Overall, it is a highly recommended and memorable stay.
Absolutely loved our stay here! Every member of the staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room was cute and ample, the hotel was clean, and location was awesome! Location was walkable for plenty of food options, close to the Zoo, and the neighborhood was very nice.
