“We've been to this merchant a few times. I have a differentability (thank you to my little great niece for changing my perspective ?) and I some times require an aide for walking. My husband and I found some beautiful hand carved canes here and at very reasonable prices. We receive constant compliments going through the airport home and even more when I use them as a walking aide.Purchased hand made leather shoes from here and my son was elated with his gift ?.The staff is always very friendly and you can meet some very interesting people here as well. The store has two levels so don't miss going upstairs. There is definitely a lot to see ? so plan on spending some time to find your treasure. With all that said a little more organization would be nice so you can better see the selection and they have cats all over the place which I was not a fan of. However, my family and I visit here pretty much every time we're in the area and we look forward to viewing their new offerings.Check them out! Hopefully you'll find something interesting of your own in your visit.”

“EXCELLENT customer service. I went in this location yesterday to just browse around, upon entering the store I was IMMEDIATELY GREETED with a warm welcome and a friendly smile, I think she was the manager. I saw some boots that I liked and she stopped what she was doing to help me find my size. I ended up buying not one but two pairs of boots, not only was she friendly and helpful, but when I got to the register to pay for my items the cashier was also very friendly , and helpful and nice. I told her they have really positive vibes and great energy ! These two women were excellent. So if you want to find stylish items and want 5 STAR ????? customer service. Then this rainbow ? is for you. Keep up the GREAT work Ladies ??”

“Best vintage shop ever! Mercedes is my favorite! She has such a good eye, so her collection is always amazing, and she is fantastic at picking pieces for you that you wouldn’t normally choose but that then become your favorite. I have been blessed to experience this phenomenon many times with Mercedes! She is also just so kind and lovely to chat with. She and her shop are true gems. ?”

“I have gone to many consignment stores over the years, but Secondi remains to be my favorite and forever go to because of the professionalism, superior customer service and selection of outfits, and above all the kindness at the store. I often go consignment shopping by myself, and when I step of the changing room, I am greeted with so many encouraging thoughts- "wow, that dress looks great on you! You like Johnny Was? Let me find another top for you." Secondi is an amazing business and is a gift to not just Dupont Circle but Washington D.C. I can't recommend it enough.”

“Not going to lie, the clothes are overpriced for the most part. I think the price on the sweater I got was fine, but most of their shirts were the same price. The sweater I found is super comfortable and gets my partner a lot of compliments!”

“Lovely and well-curated vintage shop in Eastern Market. Carries a good selection of contemporary consignment, vintage labels, and luxury designer items. I've found Clothes Encounters prices designer items very reasonably priced compared to other consignment shops in the region. I always find something amazing here.”

“The negative comments about the workers being “rude” “arrogant” confirmed I needed to stop by but everyone there was chill and helpful. Nice designer that’s nicely priced”
