Made a passport appointment weeks ago, took off of work, and hauled my infant across town, only to be told that this location hasn't been able to process passport applications for months! There were 3 of us with confirmed appointments, not walk-ins, who were given this information. Meanwhile, they have physical signs up everywhere about passport services. Unacceptable.

Absolute dog water service and never leaves my packages at my door.
I’ve complained for years at this point, no one cares... I’ve reached out to people on my route, posted instructions on the front of my door, and nothing. I will find who I need to speak to one day, if they ever even respond to complaints. You go in person, and they treat you like a complete nuisance. Honestly just overall trash service and no respect for people. They leave letters to go pick it up at the post office and treat you like a pig for asking anything. They will later take 1 hour or more to find your package. Understaffed, unorganized, hectic, slow, and awful. If i could speak worse of the place, I would. Stay away and use FedEx if you can.

There is a clerk here an older gentleman who wears pilot shades while on the job who absolutely should not be working here. I don’t know if he was stoned out of his mind or what, but literally he was pressing one key at a time and looking back up at the screen while looking so confused. It took him 30 minutes to help a woman with 2 packages. The line was to the front door and I don’t think anybody could believe it watching this man. I feel bad because he was an older guy but you have to draw a line. This is not okay and he was clearly incompetent, confused, and could barely see the screen in front of him. Maybe it was the sunglasses he was wearing inside.

Rude, and unpleasant experience.

One of the worst experiences—one unbelievably rude and aggressive service person, Kim, who seriously should be kept from interacting with customers. She really stands out in an otherwise very nice and accommodating group of employees.

I came here took a the day of work to get my child a passport. Got to the location at 7:30am to find out there is no passport agent! They need to specify that online! If you don’t have an agent ok understandable but say that on your website so people aren’t making plans for nothing. This isn’t an inconvenience. It’s unprofessional.

I scheduled a passport appointment online and waited two months for it. I took the day off from work and even took my child out of school, only to find out that their passport agent has been out FOR WEEKS! It’s incredibly unprofessional and a complete waste of our time and money. We provided both a phone number and email when booking, yet no one bothered to inform us.
I’ve left a message and am waiting to hear from the manager, as I don’t want any other customers to end up in the same position as us

I made an appointment online for a passport application over one month ago through USPS's website and received a confirmation after seeing that this is a passport location on the State Department website. Two days before my appointment, I received a voicemail stating that my appointment is cancelled because they are not able to assist with passports. I appreciate that they called ahead of time so that I didn't take off of work and show up only to be turned away, but I don't understand why I was able to make an appointment online if they do not do passports at this location anymore. USPS and the State Department need to update their websites accordingly.

Adding another disappointing review about the passport scheduling location. Tried to get passports for minors, made an appointment, got everything ready, took time off from work/school, only to show up with a note on the door telling us no one was there and apologize for the inconvenience. Reading the reviews here and after venting my frustration to someone who told me she had experienced the same, this does not seem to be an isolated incident. Wish I had checked these reviews prior and hoping sharing my experience here will help you prepare better.

As always, one of the worst Post Offices in DC. Only one person working and a line of 20+ people waiting and waiting. Expect to spend at least 20-30 mins waiting in line, and then you'll be treated with contempt by an over worked desk clerk. This PO only gets worse every year. The only good thing about the location is their large parking lot. But that's it.
