Hours: The United States Postal Service (USPS) is the only organization in the country that regularly delivers to every residential and business address. USPS is committed to providing secure, reliable, and affordable delivery of mail and packages to more than 157 million addresses in the United States, its territories, and its military bases worldwide. Processing and delivering 47 percent of the world's mail, USPS manages over 30,000 retail locations and constantly innovates to make customer experiences better. The USPS location at 2 Massachusetts Ave NE offers walk-in passport services, and the staff is generally helpful and patient. Customers have praised the kindness, professionalism, and efficiency of the employees, particularly Mr. Clarence. While some customers may face issues with addresses, forms, or fees, the USPS staff is committed to making the process work for everyone. This location is open on Sundays, despite what is written on the entry doors, and can be accessed through the N. Capitol Street side. Additionally, the USPS Federal Credit Union (USPS FCU) is inviting all members to the Annual Meeting on July 24th, with the option to participate either in person or virtually via Zoom. The event will feature door prizes, refreshments, and lunch for in-person attendees.
