This Walgreens has two levels, with an escalator and elevator for easy access. The downstairs area offers health, beauty, toys, and cards, while the upstairs features drinks and food. The store is small, and its selection of snacks, drinks, toiletries, and other items is limited. Despite this, the staff members are friendly and helpful, providing good service. The store is conveniently located and easy to find parking, making it a good stop for quick needs. Security is visible, with a police officer at the front door, which helps shoppers feel safe. However, the store charges 5 cents per plastic bag without informing customers beforehand. Finding specific items like batteries can be tricky due to poor signage and the store's small size, and customers may need to navigate around panhandlers outside. The environment can get crowded, and some customers find the local vibe less friendly. Overall, Walgreens is a practical place for grabbing drinks or essentials quickly, with helpful staff and easy access, though its limited size and selection might require patience.
Great help and service in the pharmacy…..Also kind help looking for shaving needs…I was happy to find Walgreens in downtown DC, close to the Metro stop.

I don’t know his name but he was the only clerk work at about 6pm Friday, 5/2/25. He complimented my greeting card and was all around just a real homie. It was a short interaction but I appreciated it nonetheless. Thanks for some good customer service dude

Alicia the pharmacist is EXTREMELY helpful. She remains calm when I'm worried about a medication that may not be in stock or an insurance issue. She always follows through which brings such comfort and trust. She is the best!
