More importantly, the staff -- from the manager to the shelf stockers -- is friendly, personable and always volunteering to help, from locating my aisles to helping load my car. I can't recall a better, well-managed, helpful, friendly and professional staff. A bunch of positive adjectives in this review but every one is earned.”

“This review is purely for Giant pick up. I use my bicycle to run most of my errands, and because of the idiotic no bags inside policy, I solely use giant for pick up orders since moving to the neighborhood a couple months ago. Claire has done most of my shopping for pick up orders and does an excellent job. The workers are always timely and friendly. Produce has been fresh and I don't get any banged up or expired products here. I've done giant pick up at the H St NE and Brentwood stores as well, and this location is the best and most consistent service out of the three. Thanks Claire! My only complaint is that giant should make it easier to leave reviews on the app since employees rely on these, but they only give you the option to report issues, not positive feedback, online.”

I see the butcher putting his time in on the floor, checking on things. I got my Covid booster there without a problem. It's a tight store serving a lot of people. The self checkout area always has someone present. I could go on and on. Would love to see the place knocked down and modified. Maybe the 3 owners would come to an agreement on that ;)”

Set up the appointment and when I got there I was seen ahead of schedule and the professional who administered the vaccine was extremely efficient and very thorough with the information she gave me prior to the injection. “This Safeway put the 'friendly' in your friendly neighborhood store. Maureen is pleasant efficient and when she has a line she acknowledge all of her customers. Mariah. I had an issue with the deli and she was profusely apologetic and took care of it immediately. Andrea . Ms Seafood I call her. My experience with the other lady behind the counter was very unpleasant so I do not purchase Seafood unless she is working. I told the other lady I want lightly seasoned crablegs and that Andrea steam them perfectly and she said rudely ' I am not Andrea ' I should have not gotten them because I had to wash my crablegs before I ate them and as such they were not as good. But overall this Safeway is a good store. Keep up the good work guys. ?”
