This Walgreens located in Union Station in downtown DC is notably larger than typical for a station location, offering a good selection of items despite space constraints. The store is clean and well-maintained, with two levels accessible by stairs and a wheelchair ramp. It provides many of the items customers expect from Walgreens, including snacks, necessities, and even a sushi bar, although the sushi was not available during one visit. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, especially when handling returns or assisting customers with their needs. However, the store can sometimes be messy and dirty, and stock levels may vary, which can be frustrating. Prices for some items, like cough medicine, tend to be higher due to the location, and there are occasional disturbances, such as loud scenes involving other customers. Despite some drawbacks, this Walgreens offers convenience for travelers and nearby hotel guests, making it a practical stop for essentials, snacks, and quick needs while passing through Union Station. Overall, it is a large, clean, and functional store with friendly staff, though it may not always be perfectly organized.
Good location but they are NEVER OPEN PAST 7/8pm any day of the week. Please change the hours to reflect that.

This location constantly, consistently only have one cashier at the register. Resulting in long, tedious lines and checkouts. The employees could care less about efficient service: Avoid if you can!!!!
