Wilson Aquatic Center is an enormous, huge, and clean public facility. It is open early on weekdays. The staff are professional, friendly, helpful, fantastic, polite, kind, lovely, and patient. The locker rooms are consistently clean with hot showers, though the shower curtains can get gross. The pool offers plenty of lanes for lengths and exercise, plus a warm pool with jets. Finding a lane can be hard during the post-5pm rush and on weekends. It is free for DC residents and features efficient check-in. The center has been shut frequently for recurring maintenance issues, but it remains a great neighborhood pool with useful amenities like a swimsuit spinner, floaters, and pool noodles.

Jeron Stokes is the best swim coach ever!! He helped me conquer my fear of water and was always extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. Magic! Truly.

Great neighborhood pool. The staff is friendly and place is fairly well maintained for a public pool. However, finding a lane can be hard during the post 5pm rush so plan accordingly since you will be competing with swim classes and other 9-5ers.
