BOARDWALK FRIES Bethany Beach
97 Garfield Parkway, Bethany BeachBoardwalk Fries in Bethany Beach is the boardwalk stop you make after the sand. The stand sits on Garfield Parkway, right in the center of town. The line is common in season. It moves.
The fries are the point. Fresh, hot, crisp outside, and salted hard. Get a bucket. One feeds a few people if you are not greedy. Vinegar spray is on the counter. Old Bay is worth asking for. Garlic cheese fries and chili cheese fries are the loaded versions if plain is not enough.
They also do chicken tenders, hot dogs, and a few other boardwalk staples. Tenders get mentioned a lot. There is a dedicated fryer for gluten-free chicken, which matters if that is your issue.
This is not a sit-down meal. Take the bucket to the beach or eat standing up. Portions are large. Prices are beach prices, not grocery-store prices. Salt can be heavy, so taste before you add more.
If you are in Bethany and want fries on the boards, this is the place. Order the bucket, hit it with vinegar, and walk.

33548 Market Place Unit 2, Bethany BeachWe went looking for deep dish pizza in the Rehoboth/Dewey/Bethany Beach areas and we came across Armands in Bethany Beach and we are glad we did. First off, easy drive to a most delightful location. The wait time was zero because we came after the lunch crowd. The atmosphere was exactly what we expected and were very pleased with the facility. The deep dish pizza was literally out of this world and we ended up taking some home. We chose the Med Deep Dish Chicago Combo and if we had gotten a large, it might have lasted for additional two more meals. Great value for the price of the meal. Definitely going back the next time we are in the area.
